you need to buy a joystick from an electronic store. not all stores have them.

PS3 controllers you can hook up with USB and a few drivers, 360 controllers can be used in roughly the same fashion, and PC controllers are sold at wal-mart for like, 12 bucks.

I hate this boss. The 2 first stages take AGES and are extremely boring and easy. And the 3rd one's driving me nuts... I just keep jumping into the ball.

oh yes i know that, i won only 2 times, but the biggest fuck is after defeating the boss in the right room there is no save box and i died there, so i have to do this boss again and again just for having "ONE" try to do the fucking right room...

and i have a question about this video, because i saw 5 shots at the same time on the screen plus you walked into the left room after beating the boss, i wanted to do that too but it didn't work...

yeah, you can go back to the previous room and save there.

You do need to jump to do it, though, and that's weird... So I don't know, maybe it's a bug. Anyway, it shouldn't be (At least not in Normal mode. Hard and Very Hard are *meant* to be frustrating XD).

Also, if you dodged the Bullet Bill instead of killing it, it will appear when you go back to that room xD At least it didn't kill me :P

There's actually that way, the "hiding behind him" way, and the developer intended shooting way. I prefer the last (and mock those who don't use it) simply because mashing is fun!
