  • Does anyone know where to buy "The Merry Widow" with Jeremy on DVD? I truly am desperate.

  • Someone please tell me the name of the episode @ 1:01 .I shall be much obliged. There's afterwards, the scene where Holmes says thanks twice to a very young girl...In the entire series,to my recollection, it only happens one more time (Thank You -twice-) said to Lestrade (Masterfully portrayed by Colin Jeavons), at the end of the episode where either a gigantic pearl or diamond is found. Many, many thanks indeed ! millionhead@yahoo.com

  • 2:05, i do not remember Sherlock having any relations with women at all! is it from another film? If so, which one, or which episode. Thanks.

  • is there a video of the Merry Widow version of this song with Jeremy Brett? Be amazing to see it as ive been listening to this all night and also Love Unspoken <3 :)

  • 0:58 - which episode is it?????

  • @DaFortepianino The Abbey Grange

  • 0:54 - which episode is it?????

  • @DaFortepianino The Copper Beeches

  • Very nice video and lovely voice.

The voice that had in the songs of My Fair Lady was to Bill Shirley the voice of the prince from Sleeping Beauty 1959.

  • 2.09...I thought Holmes was never in love...or interested in female in a romantic way (maybe save Irene Adler)

  • Is Jeremy singing in this?

  • @cbrusharmy It certainly is. The song comes from a 1969 recording of The Merry Widow .

  • @tilley152 I thought I recognized his voice. :-) I'm a big fan of his singing "On The Street Where You Live" in _My Fair Lady_. Thanks for the info.

  • @cbrusharmy I don't wish to shatter your illusion but it wasn't Jeremy's voice singing in My Fair Lady. Sorry!

  • @tilley152 He himself said that he sang all but the high parts of that song in the movie -- made some joke about not wanting to wake the neighborhood by belting them out, or something to that effect.

  • how about that! Holmes finally got some!

  • I was just wondering what it was that the clips of Jeremy laying on the ground were from.

  • @NewsiesSuzie I think the clip you are referring to comes from The Master Blackmailer.

  • Absolutely wonderful video! What a joy watching this, thank you! :-)

  • @giuel95 You're most welcome, thanks for watching.

  • Utterly Splendid. Love it. Jeremy is divine.

  • love it at 0:54 where he just casually twiddles her hair and she looks so shocked lol... thanks for this it's really nice!

  • @ultraviolet128

Yes indeed, he could have twiddled my hair any time!!

    Thanks for watching.

  • Ahh! I love this song so much! It's gorgeous! :D

  • Yes, I would have loved to have seen Jeremy singing this one. Thanks for watching. xx

  • nice video, I enjoyed watching it :-)

  • love this song :-) lovely video too thank you

for your next one...how about "her majesty's health?"

    ;-)

  • Yes, I love that one too... and probably very appropriate knowing Jeremy's love for a drop of bubbly! You've got me thinking now... can I find enough drinking clips???

Thanks for watching my friend. xx

  • well... throw in a little "pitt" and haunted the ferryman...and you'd have it i think

  • Excellent! the moment where Jeremy -Sherlock seems to beat time is a delight. Like you, I feel angry each time I think he was not allowed to sing his part in "My fair lady". And they made him waste much time, waiting to perform, and miss interesting parts. Grrr!

  • Glad you liked it. I totally agree with you about My Fair Lady. They found the original of Audrey Hepburn singing. How much would we pay to hear Jeremy's original audio tracks???

  • Great video! Fun to watch & nice choice of song as well! 5*

  • Thanks for watching. xx

  • 5* super :)

  • Thanks for your comments.

  • I was silent throughout this video...Then when it finished I burst out laughing! Very good : )

Jeremy had such a lovely voice. I showed his version of 'A Wonderful View' to some of my friends (who aren't massive J.B. fans,) and they were bowled over.

  • Always makes me smile too. Yes a fantastic voice...I often wonder if he was secretly doing a bit of nose thumbing to the idiots at Warner Brothers for not letting him sing in My Fair Lady. What a tragic loss that was to all his fans.

Thanks for watching my friend. xx

  • Well done! 5*

  • Many thanks for watching. xx

  • this song always cracks me up

  • I love it too... Always find myself thumping my fist in the air at the 'Try,Try,Try ' lines

    Thanks for watching. xx
