Alright. I've been asked to give some clarification on this song. This IS dubstep, without a doubt. Ask yourself, when do you hear remixes like this? All the time! What are they classified as? Dubstep. There are many different subgenres of dubstep, and I think we have just discovered a new one. the BPM on this tune is no where near dubstep of any kind. its sound more drumstep type. I'd say its around 169 or maybe even 170 BPM. Dubstep is 70 to 140. You do the math =)
@Wonderbirdicita Honestly we didn't know how to label it. From the start, the BPM throws off any convention of dubstep; however this was very much dubstep influenced.
Maybe a dubstep/hip hop remix is a more suiting label...
