Brazil may well have more and better skaters than the USA, I don't know, but I do know that in Alva's heyday, about 1975-80, on the whole Brazil wasn't Jack Sh^T. You talk about a "USA point of view," well maybe you need to concentrate more on correcting your own biased/narrow views based on being a poser from Brazil. Kind of sucks that you will never make a living off skateboarding like TA.....

BTW met Alva when i was about 13 or 14 one time in a parking lot, Houston 77? Globe or Kmart parking lot demos, hwy290@ 34th st. He signed my shirt since I didn't have my deck on me, then we both came to the conclusion that Vicki Vickers had quite a pair(he brought it up!). Always thought he might of found it interesting that a kid(me) was teaching her slide tricks at her request just a few weeks earlier at the EZ-7 ditch.
