@SoloRazaSoldier13 Agreed. I just got it and played for a good 5 hours. But it sure it harder than the rest I've played over the years. But it is, in fact the best one so far. If only they had more player characters for the campaign mode.

@neonnwave1 The reason that there are so few campaign characters is because the rest have either died or gotten what they've wanted. (Or both) Many of the older cars are in this game, but the actual characters are gone because of the way each of their stories ended.

Still, in spite of this, the new Twisted Metal is a worthy edition to the franchise, and it definitely exceeded my own expectations of the game.

But none the less, this game did exceed most of people's expectations, but it would still be awesome if we could have more playable characters.

actually the new TM is a reboot

but it looks like Calypso has been running the contest for a long time because if you notice in his trophy case, marcus kane is contestant number 800 or something

and the his trophies hint( or confirm) that there are different TM universes

Calypso's probably either the only one aware of parallel timelines, or he's a trans-dimensional being, as he manages to have both items from the TM Black-verse and the central continuity (Barring TM3 and 4) in his trophy case (Especially with Needles' imaginary friend from TM1 and his reboot machete present).
