We find if something is going to come down and hit your head it is right at the mouth so you may want to look up. We have had a close call.

Also before going into a cave with anyone I make sure I tell them that if they are caught in a surprise swell (It happens) roll the boat upside down and take the sealing hit on your bottom rather than have 1,100 lbs of buoyancy crush their head, We will pick up the pieces when the swell recedes: Unless they roll up. That would be a great boast.
