@pedromiles101 It's foam, it dampens the strings behind the nut so that there's no residual ringing out when a note is muted.

I have been listening to your OCremix's, which are really great. I grew up listening to Joe Satriani, Dream Theater and Nuno Bettencourt...I don't play in quite as heavy of a style but I must say you have those speed metal chops down :) I play more of a funk metal, Satriani mix, I have been looking into getting another 7 string (I had one a few years back, a J-Custom), listening to your music, I might get into it again as I miss having that lower range.

I have one too! but Its Alder and I wish I had the Mahog-wood instead, but it still gets a great sound ( & I plan 2 keep the C-26 PUs ). The only difference is I added the phase switch, no dots on ebony board & the pearl silver finish .....Awesome Guitar!
