ekbrogan - there's incredible fear bubbling up (mostly Conservative Christians) as anger by people who don't understand the changes in the US. They want to keep a lid on it as if millions are irrelevant and their vote doesn't matter. So they call 'em unpatriotic or socialist because its beyond their ken..
