no. none of the characters are in the new series. It's more..kid friendly by far..it's really horrible. I read the manga..and it has a dog..that beyblades..it's REALLY bad lol. totaly new characters sadly.

I've seen the english ver. of the last 6, 7 episodes of Beyblade Grevolution and well they cut out the part where Tala/Yuriy cries and it sucks and they always add sentences in the dubbed ver. but I still watch it cause they stay to the basic plot but not really that well and Kai is only 16 in the english ver. and Japanese ver. too I think, I Love it this vid rules

Some fans suggested that Kai *did* die but Sazaku used the last of her power to bring him back to life. Personally I like to believe that too, it's fitting for the Phoenix blader to 'rise from ther ashes'. ^_^
