That runs really nicely for a model. I guess it is a home made affair- the base isn't very sturdy for a saleable product as the cylinder block has a bit of a wobble on. It may well be worth adding some more support under the crosshead guides.
@LCA1678 I don't know, it could need more supprot, as the cylinder block really shouldn't be rocking like that! Also noticed it began to slow, maybe try some oil(sewing mahine oil would do) on the crosshead guides and also fill the oilers(thing with clear glass/plastic on top of cylinder block), should be some sort of oilers on the crankshaft aswell. Regardless whether it's store bought or home made, it may still need a support bracket from the crosshead guides to the base, but try oiling first!
I have a few model steam engines, and in comparission to the objects in the back ground, this does not look very small. yes, need some oil, but all-in-all looks good, sounds good, and seems to run good! Cool!
Thats a great engine! I like the setup.

Engines like this used to be used to turn popcorn popping and peanut roasting machines in concession wagons back in the 1890ies

Hello, I don't know whether or not this engine was designed as a kit... If so it is a very old kit. The base does need to be re-enforced.
