From Del Shores, the writer/director. Tammy Wynette LOVED the play Sordid Lives and endorsed it! She died before the movie came out, but allowed her songs to be used. Her daughter Georgette Jones played her mom in my series based on the movie... may be sickening to you, but to Tammy it was an homage and she loved it. See, she was gay friendly, loved her gay fans... sounds like you have a little homophobia problem tjr2210.

@SordidLiveschannel One of my all time favourite movies, and it introduced me to Tammy W, via this song, which is now one of my favourite songs of all time. Before this I only knew Stand By Your Man and DIVORCE. Amazing woman, amazing voice and this is an amazing movie...hysterically funny. I wish we'd had the tv series over here but I still haven't seen it.
