  • She is a love. And YOU guys are loves for giving her such a loving home and a full, blessed life. I lost my IW mix Bounty a few years ago, and the hurt never goes away, but I feel lucky to have known him. "The best place to bury a good dog is in the heart of his master".

  • This video made me cry. I've never had a wolfhound, house and garden are too small. Your dog was so courageous, and so beautiful. I'm so sad she lost her battle.

  • one of the best wolfhounds ive ever seen! 4.24 is a great photo

  • watching this with tears flowing down my face for my own IW Cluain who died of bone cancer last year you never own an Irish wolfhound they adopt you and take over your heart

  • How meny years do Irish wolfhund leave.

  • we also had a wolf hound who died of bone cancer, she was 6 1/2 she was Fallon. She was a light wheaton. The best dog I have ever had. I now have 2 more wolfhounds ...Elmer and Edith. But Fallon was the best ever. I still love her so very much. I loved this video. Your Molly was very special I see

  • Loved the vid,TY! Made me cry to remember my old Wolfie 'Ziggy' .. who lived to be nearly 17yrs old .. she died of heart failure, quietly in her sleep after a short illness. I have another now, 'Boss', love him dearly but they are all differnet & so hard to live without! See my vids (2) featuring my 'Boss' & his best friend 'Dolly' the Great Dane! Sorry your Wolfie died so young ..

  • Beautiful... We sorely miss our 2 wolfies. Lucie (22/07/1998 - 27/12/2004) and Harvey (17/05/2003 - 12/11/2009). Both sadly put to sleep to stop their pain (bone cancer and a neck problem). Loved them both to bits, always in our hearts. Can't describe the huge hole in your life when they do go but just cherish the time you have with them now.

  • rip there are tears in my eyes

  • lovely dog... {=)

  • I'm so sorry for you loss. Heartwrenching video. Brilliant.

  • for nearly 4 yrs i had a wolf hound his name was malark he was the best i think about him often he was the most well behaved dog the gentle one i have ever had if needed you could call on him like the the day the police walked by my house and asked can i stoke the dog i said yes but do not touch the children he said OK and the time my son rode over him on a tractor it was OK i walked him in the morning an had to have him put to sleep in the afternoon thank you MALARK

  • yeah know how it is to loos one as they are so big they litterally are another family member to an extent no other dog could ever fill. erin dyed of simalar cancer and an infection as she cut her tail open and had to get it removed and it got badly infected to the point she coulnt move her back legs and lost controll of lets say bowle movements. so we sent her off to sleep i was with her every step, ur irish wolfhound is beautifull would have loved a white one mine was grey brindle r.i.p. molly

  • Sorry to hear of your loss. I will admit giggling when seeing the shot of Molly and the coffee cup. Mine, Caera, "steals" my coffee anytime I forget and leave it within reach lol. I'll come back and find only a few drops left in my cup.

  • RIP Molly,

his name is Shamus and hes 17 months.

Helle.. who miss her own dog TJALFE, an Irish /Pyeneer dog, he set all standards, he was my love and my life...

  • When I was a boy, we had an Irish Wolfhound named Molly as well. She was great dog. I judge all others by the standards she set. Of course, all dogs are great, but Molly was exceptional.

  • im 17 and i growed with a dog called Porthos, a kind of irish wolfhound. he died in 2004 and he is burried in our backyard (we have a huge backyard) and i rly miss him... i had another dog called Layla , she was 7 when she died of a kind of heart attack, about 4 month ago, i miss her so much.. it feel strange to say that about a dog but it is what it is, i think of them a lot of time..

  • So sorry for your loss. I had a dog who also had cancer and had to be put to sleep, so I know how you feel. Your dog was so beautiful...What a wonderful dog! Truly, dogs enrich our life so much and it is so very sad when they have to go. But you made her happy and will always be a better person because a dog loved you.

  • these are quite a few beautiful moments and shots/videos that olny come once in a lifetime

    R.i.p Molly <3

  • R.I.P!!!!!!!

  • Thanks for this great video; Molly clearly was a wonderful dog.

  • I just wanted to say thank you for posting this video. My Irish Wolfound passed away from bone cancer in his leg on February 15, 2006. Bailee fought his battle well, but sadly his leg broke and we had to put him down. He was the best dog my family has ever had. This video reminded me of how courageous and beautiful of a dog he was. Thank you.

  • Thanks for posting. Needed a good cry. I got my first puppy when I was 14 years old. They were advertised at a pet store being German Shepherd mix. As she got older I didn't see any shepherd in her. When she was full grown my father found a pic of an IWH and it was evident what her mix was. Watching this vid reminds me so much of her. We had to put her down July 07 due to her age and her pains. I'm still not over it. I've owned dogs before, but I've taken this loss the hardest. RIP Molly & Sasha

  • I'm from Brazil, and crying for Molly.

I love so much the Irish Wolfhounds.

I have seven Irish Wolfhounds in Brazil.

    Kisses.

  • Watched this with tears in my eyes and my IW Finn at my feet. Molly was obviously loved very much! It amazes me the dignity and courage they show for being "just dogs". The pain will never truly go away, but each day, the good memories will stay, and the pain will fade... God bless!

  • Watching this is making me cry. I too have a 5 year old irishwolfhound named bubbles who is suffering from bone cancer of front leg and at most has few days to live. Despite the pain he is in, he still wants his walk and his family's companionship. This video will give us the strengh to get through this difficult time. Wolfhounds might have a short lifespan, but the impact they have on their family is huge. Thanks for sharing this video

  • oh my gosh---she was so beautiful! we love our 14 week old Owen so much and I dread the day already of losing him.

  • Hi, thanks for looking and your kind words. Dont dread the time they go, enjoy every minute you have with them now. Molly is still in our hearts and every moment was special.

Owen is really cute, look forward to seeing more video of him growing up.

  • so sad!

  • Oh, I'm sad for you, and for your brave and beautiful Molly. She looked so regal and dignified, even when she was ecstatic about going out for a walk! No wonder the Celtic Kings added the prefix "Chu" to their name when they ascended the throne.

My wolfie is a mix, but he still carries himself like a Prince. The IW are such beautiful souls. I think God made them so wonderful in order to make up for the short time that they grace us with their presence.

  • I am at work, bawling my eyes out. Thank you for sharing this. I too have a MOlly at home and dread the day that she's gone. They are worth every single minute.

  • Thanks for this. I did not know Molly but I lost my Cu, a 7 and a half yearold lady IW very similar to Molly last December. She too had bone cancer. I weep for all of us who miss these incredible beings we have been graced enough to share some time with. Thanks again

  • Hi, thanks for looking and leaving a message. I looked at your video of Cu and I could see she was a lovely gracious lady too. I cant watch this without crying for Molly, We miss her so much, but we had fabulous time together, and were so lucky to have her. IW's truly are soul dogs!x

  • I watch this video and it always brings tears to my eyes as I had the pleasure of knowing Molly from being a pup.She could not have had a more loving and caring home. She lost the battle but won a lot of hearts. But she is now free.Gives me inspiration myself.THANKS MOLLY NEVER FORGET YOU.

  • AM watching this video with the biggest lump in my throat. I was honoured to have met Molly. She was a wonderful dog and shall always hold a special place in my heart - she was one of life's gentle giants who fought a brave battle until the end. Run free Molly x

  • A very brave dog who i had the pleasure of knowing.A space in life which will be hard to fill. She was a very special dog.

  • a beautiful tribute for a gorgeous dog. Molly will always be the most special wolfie!
