theres human error involved in hockey which adds to the game. same in football and other sports although its diminishing via all the penalties and replays in football. it wasnt offsides but because it was close i can understand why the ref blew the whistle

They may have CALLED it offside, but it clearly was not offside. Anyone who disagrees needs to have their head checked

The official on the bottom right side signals offside. That could have been a roughing penalty for a hit after a whistle.
