Throughout the entire match the majority of the fans in SE were singing(wouldn't have sounded like it as the cameras- if you were watching via telly- were by the Ajax fans).

I don't know how this Arsenal row started, but as someone who goes to most home games and about half of the away games each season, I can tell you that yes our home fans suck, they just moan a lot and theres not much atmosphere - but our away fans are easily one of the best in Europe, no matter where the gunners play its always an away sell out and we always outsing the home side, even if we're losing.
