What is different between HVR-HD 1000E
& HVR-HD 1000U

There is actually an E at the end of the 1000 where as the other has a U. I have no idea I'm a diver not a photographer, the tittle HD 1000 refers to the name of a vessel not any kind of photographic equipment.
