I have an Ironbird One and I've tried it in multiple amps with different settings and I can never get enough distortion. It basically sounds like a bass unless I'm playing cords or tremolo picking. I really wonder what is wrong with it.

I Just got this guitar, iv heard some bad reviews and some good, this vid makes me feel good about ordering it, i hope it turns out what i want it to be :P any tips on which pickup i should mainly keep it on ? i play mainly stuff like metallica, slayer, three days grace, skillet, megadeth and around that general area, so thrash metal, death metal, and punk rock. cuz iv had people tell me to keep it on the bridge pickup and others say both and otehrs like the neck. so jus wonderin

Quality is about the same. This has 24 frets vs. 22 on the ML, but I would say the neck on the ML is little bit thinner / more comfortable, but only slightly. The ML balances better.

Either one would be fine, but if you can get the LTD for $140 I would go with that and spend the rest of the money on an amp or a good distortion pedal. As a beginner, I think the differences between the guitars will be too small for you to notice, so you might as well go with the less expensive one. Rock on \m/

i have this guitar,.ive hade it for about almost 3 years. and it just rules. although your right about where the strap button,..its is kinda weird. thats why i removed it and screwed it behind the neck on top of that thigy that holds the neck to the guitar body.

its a great guitar for a great price. especialy if you play metal. the clean on this guitar is good. butt your not gonna need it thogh cuase this is a 100% metal guitar.

i got this 80's ironbird just 3 days ago, it is fucking AMAZING its got a rare finish with a skull on the bolt neck area and the finish is like this blue static like finish. its perfect message me if you wanna see a pic and see if you think its killer looking

Hello I got a question for all you guys. I got this Ironbird 1 and when I play stand-up my neck is falling. I saw in the video that this is from the fabrication. I am asking you guys if you can do something to avoid that. It's a good guitar but for me, I just play on the chair.. Hope someone will give me an answer. Horns up.

@LordBaal616 See how he's holding it? You can hold it the same way when you stand up, just kind of stick your right leg out and hook that lower "point" (the lower trebel bout extension) behind it. Holds it in perfect playing position. That's why I love this shape!

@LordBaal616 Dude, I have the same issue. I guess you just need to get used to it. For me, I support the neck with my fretting hand. Could make it a little harder to play but once youre used to it, its really not a problem.

@KenBory Or you could just put one fut on something to hold the guitar on your leg. I can do it either leg, right or left. Try that. It will maybe do better and you don't have to support the neck with the left hand.

Between Behringer and Peavey, I say get the Peavey. Behringer stuff is hit and miss, and I've heard terrible stuff about their heads and combo amps. Peavey is pretty consistenly good.

I like the BG412S cabs with the Jensen speakers. The other model, the BG412H has the standard Behringer speakers and it sounds pretty muddy most of the time.

i have that same guitar ,1 out of 5 .....4.97% ,only because the top strap button is in a weird place ,what i did was screwed it off than screwed it back on behind the guitar neck ,if your gonna buy this guitar then your making a wise chaice

Besides the heavy set neck, which is a problem for most BCRs, the intent is mostly to hide the strap from the front body lines, keeping it clean looking....but as well, the jack positionioning is poor, I've owned a USA Jackson Rhoads and it has the jack smartly located in the upper wing, a much better design

I bought my black IB off eBay, it suffered some chips over the years, but it is near mint in my mind, and has silver Kahler NJ classic hardware, yeah, USA made Kahler Flyer. The guitar is probably first year 1984 licensed build from Nagoya Japan. Neck thru with a Varitone type electronics setup, like some Mocks and Bichs
