It's not a fucking "HHO gas", its an hydrogen and oxagen mixture. There are no separate atoms in that mixture. Geez, what's up with all this nonsense on Youtube?
and that folks is why you make sure to have a much large distance between positive and negative electrical connections when build hho fuel cells. funny as sh*t though.
lol harmless.. there's not enough hho to worry about there, and everybody likes lightin it on fire with a bbq lighter.. so, these guys are actually safer, they dont have there hand next to the damn the when it goes off. honestly them laughing at every explosion is pretty funny, wonder what kinda maryjane they been smok'in :-)
True the gas is dangerous but not in this example. a spark in a sealed container maybe but even then its dangerous if glass is the container. Plastic doesnt shatter it only splits. I wouldnt stand close to it mind you.
there crackn up because were paying 3-4 bucks for gas and they say that it has to be that way... But anyone can do this for under 30 bucks. There crackn up at our government, our people in charge of this world. There crackn up at the people that said this cant b done. PUSH PUSH PUSH THIS INTO EVERY CAR>!!! TAKE BACK OUR WORLD!!!! SIMPLE IDEAS WORK BEST remember KISS? KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID!!!!
@dish125db there is now way this could power a car. what's going on here is the combustion of Hydrogen gas after it is separated from water through electrolysis. Not only would you get more power from the car battery they were using, but Hydrogen gas is not a safe thing. (See--> Hindenburg)
@s9srider that's not what's important. Hydrogen is a volatile gas, and even if you ignored the danger, it burns too quickly to be used for an engine. It burns too inconsistently; it would be comparable to a gunpowder-based engine. EVEN IF YOU IGNORED THAT there's the issue that separating water in the first places uses MORE ENERGY than you could harvest from burning the Hydrogen. You would be better off just powering the car with the battery.
@s9srider that would be perpetual motion, which is impossible. Energy would be LOST in the cycle, because the machine can never be 100% efficient. Far from having extra energy to power the motor, the engine would slow down, losing energy with every cycle. It would eventually lose power and die.
Excess energy from water is now a fact, google department of defence coldfusion, or Dr. Mosier-Boss of the US NAVY cold fusion, from there you just have to learn that it is not fusion that is giving the excess energy, that was a term put on Ponds & Flieshman. There is what is known as ORMES, M-State matter, Monoatomic elements, also been labeled exotic matter being created on these water fuel cells, study superconductors and exotic matter and you have your answer.
ok...obviously the issue is arcing between the jumper cables. I'm sure you know this by now so hopefully that can be left as it is. Though you HAVE done something for the HHO community. You have accidentally proven without doubt that this gas CAN be ignited with a spark plug and therefore COULD work in an engine (if it was efficient enough and produced enough). So as a proof of concept...good job haha
It's clearly obvious that the voltage is being applied too close to the hydrogen gas output. Funny stuff, but not enough output to cause any real explosions. Just remember the next time you get hammered that water and electricity don't mix when making hho gas... lol
You can use a car battery charger for power, and some plates of 316L stainless steel. Just next time- be sure to make sure there's nothing to spark. I think they used 110V and house power in this one. That's a lot of production!!! I wonder how much current went through the air there! It's because Hydrogen conducts electricity with no loss???
It's probably at least a little safer than fireworks or dynamite...if things blow up, the water puts it out. Self-exinguishing fireworks could be a good product!

@uawwildbob no its because the leeds are too close together so its arks causing the hydrogen to explode

tl;dr you can't get more energy than you put in

@Piogre314 What if the hho generator was plugged on the alternator, creating HHO, making work the engine, turning he alternator making HHO etc.. ?

The sparks on the jump leads trigger the hydrogen combustibility before it gets a chance to raise out of the container
