To anyone who hasn't checked this group out, it's incredible.... it's essentially as close to Pink floyd as we'll ever get again. And they intentionally copy every sound that floyd has...... no ad-libbing.
Is this the same group as The Pink Floyd Experience? I saw the Aussie floyd show a few years ago and it was superb...just got tickets for something called The Pink Floyd Experience, the guys are from New Zealand but I can't figure out if it's the same group
this is not Pink Floyd the stage looks like a scale model of the Pulse tour watch a video from that the top of this stage is about 12 feet over the band Pink Floyds was something like 30 feet high if you really know and love Pink Floyd you Know this is not them
Great rendition but definitely APFS. I saw PF on the Division Bell tour and the stage was about 10 times as large. You can also see that this venue is much smaller than the ones played on that tour. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing APFS in Vancouver in September though!
this is ^ the real floyd...PULSE tour...and the guy is Gilmour no doubt about!! and noone can get a smilar floyd design and light stage...cos of course it was designed for floyd and may be very expensive at same time
This is really the Australian Tribute Show, if you don't believe, go at their channel (username: tapfs) and watch the pro-shot of this song: the guy's voice is very similar, but he's not Gilmour himself^^
And on the PULSE tour, the stage was much bigger ^^
wow, that says the aussie floyd playing there, but i have seen the main man himself a couple of times the one and only mr david gilmour and that is defo his voice singing here,
sorry ,it says the aussie pink floyd but i think that must be a mistake,i have seen the man himself a couple time mr david gilmour and that is defo his voice singing there,
Agreed, the show in Brighton was fine.Sound quality was crystal clear and clean. Not suffering too much today and I sat downstairs, great view from the centre, would defo go again

Aren't the band itself aware they are copying truly great musicians? Doesn't that make them feel like sell out eunuchs or something? Aren't the fans spastics for gushing after them?
Pretty good? The best damn show there is. There sound is really authentic to the real deal. Me myself either have no big respect for cover or tribute bands, accept for aussie floyd. They are absolutely brilliant
Their sound may be authentic but as a steward at our theatre here in North Wales where they play annually their show is TOO LOUD so much so you cannot hear what they are singing.
They also like to use too much bass which drowns out the music.
If they turned the sound down a bit you would have one of the most authentic live shows in the business.
Their show is magnificent.
Im only glad i donot have to pay to see them because as a steward i donot have to pay to be deathened. .
I just saw them tonight (18/09/09) in Brighton, England. A fantastic show in every respect, apart from the CHRONIC sound volume. At times it HURT and 3 hours later my hearing has still not returned to normal.
Wouldn't hesitate to buy a DVD of them, but I most definitely would not go see them live with that volume again.
These guys were pretty good.. I don't have much respect for cover bands, I think these guys should write they're own material because they all good musicians..great show but not floyd... A good guitarist can play an awesome solo but a better guitarist can play they're own solo!!! let the hate mail begin!!
asshole you obviously have not seen the real floyd live. I have travelled all over the world to watch them and trust me this is Aussie Floyd and not the real deal.

My boss gave me a pair of tickets. So i was actually texting my friend shine on you crazzy diamond at the time, syncronicity. so i was very excited. The place was filled with burnouts. The tickets where outragously priced so i expected something. But it was a bad. Was kinda like going to see a cover band(which they are) for like$60-$200. I tried to enjoy it. If your a die hard Floyd head it's Sacreligous, but if you take enough drugs you can fool yourself.
Hhhhhhmmmmmm. Maybe your name 'eroticMISERY' says it all ?
As someone lucky enough to see PF 5 times. Earls court - The Wall,Pulse 3 times and MLOR at london docklands.
I loved APF. They are a very good 'copy/tribute' of the Pulse tour. Yes it was filled with a lot of us older fans (burnouts ?) but we cheered till we were hoarse, they had a standing ovation at the end of many of the songs. Wonderful atmosphere. As good as any of the real PF shows and better than the original wall show.
Wolfie, it is my understainding that they normally do a one-hour-set (playing a specific album), then 20 minute intermission, then another one-hour-set (greatest hits set), but the wall being a double album, do they still play the greatest hits set? Any additional feedback would be much appreciated, Thanks.
Yes you have that about right. We saw APF's dark side of the moon show. But they played a longer set in the second half (1.5 hours). Its a lot of fun. They use the original PF videos edited with some subtle changes. Big manic pink Kangeroo etc. Its a very good show.
TOTALY RECOMENDED !! bloody brilliant, the BEST tribute band i have EVER seen. the accuracy!! and the light show..... WOW !! blew me away! desprate to go agen, want 2 go 2 london bt the tickets there r so expensive :( book fast, there tickets r hard to get !!

Pretty sure Waters or Gilmour, when the Aussie Pink Floyd performed for his birthday, told them they sounded better than the real Pink Floyd.
I saw them in concert, this is definitely them.
