  • what a whingeing basterd, typical Brit abroad, not one comment of appreciation for the landscape, mountain or climbing experience. just moans about the rain and trees, if he's a berghaus's super climber, I'm giving up.

  • @sophiebell12, yep he sure is a super climber.

  • oh dear me, they actually had the timerity to pick a flower and they 'ruthlessly' broke branches with real live leaves did they?? How dreadfully shocking.

    Get a life.

  • @drillxyz Oh god - the greenpeace raping bastards!

  • Ha ha looked like quite an adventure. Get a life adleytsang, any branches off the thousands of trees on the wall that were pulled of would of been dead anyway and there's not exactly a shortage of them there, and I also cant see many people queuing up to climb that route either!

  • excellent climb! tiny amount of wood thrown down and it would grow back quickly. adley's racist comments are not justified..

  • Leo climbs at ny local wal, he's a decent guy and would never climb with intention of doing damage to his evironment, I'm sure if local press were there they would not allow the climb to take place if there was any danger of killing vegetation on the mountain...

  • great video, lol lots of plants in the way on this route!

  • adleytsang. shut up and stop being such a bitch.

  • isn't "leave no trace" the principle of sustainable outdoor activities ? Does the team have to forestry knowledge deciding "dead branches" ? watched the video again, you could see that they picked lively flower and due to their ruthless move branches with live leaves were broken.

    Don't make excuses.

Imagine what the mountain is like if there are more teams like this one follow suite.

  • Berghaus and our athletes work hard to maintain the environment we live in and would never set out to intentionally destroy something they care about. During the climb the team had to move many obstacles which were mainly dead branches which made climbing dangerous. We hope we left very little impact on this beautiful mountain.

  • @adleytsang the species might have taken decades, if not more, but the plant itself will regrow in a matter of weeks. That's what plants do - they GROW. Especially in this rainy monsoon season.
