sometimes young kids know better than us when they want to eat something, for example my cousing refused to eat baby food made with fruits and sugar. Later they found out she was hypoglycemic and eventually developed diabetes. She instictively was picky about the foods that would have killed her. The son of my friend refused to eat baby biscuits and wheat pap. Later they found out he was celiac. I suggest avocados and bananas as natural foods kids love.
I think this is awesome. You guys seem like awesome parents. Anything you have to do is worth it. I have an autistic son as well who is super picky, and I'm thinking I just might have to try this tactic :-)

it is a form of reinforcement. anything reinforcing for the child will help when it comes to things like this.

VERY cute, but I suggest chewing with your mouth closed so your son does too. It'd be bad if when he grew up everytime he ate you heard 'OMNOMNOM'

Thanks for the lesson in manners, but anyone can see this video was made with fun in mind.
We're not so uptight in our home that we have to be "PC" every waking moment.
