Its a long way to go yet. Staying in Australia was never going to help. He's made the right decision to try himself out in Europe.

Germany is a very tough league. My hope is that he doesn't take any knock-backs as a sign of failure. If a Trainer already has a player like Lukas in his squad, it's a hard call to drop them for a new guy, especially someone from the other side of the world that isnt coming from a recognised football nation. (Australia & NZ)

The only videos that SAY Lukas Pedder is a good player are the ones where the Coaches are interviewed and asked what they think of him. These coaches think he is good.

The rest of the videos just show how he plays and how how he scores goals.

You mention VIS. One of the first videos I edited for Lukas was when he played against them. The VIS had players in the Joeys so that answers you about the standard. Lukas was sensational. I heard that Lukas asked about being picked up by the VIS but he was told that they were full & that you can only join it when you are 13 or 14 at latest, so I asked myself why a 16yo can be ignored like that? Why were the other 16yo VIS players treated better. I had the video proof that Lukas was as good..
