Will kill 2nd by many small ways. NRA is not friend.

Would lose tax status otherwise. When all you have left is air soft and BB guns NRA will still want dues.

They did so in order to allow individuals to protect themselves from others, not the government, besides, so much has changed since then that there is no need to protect ourselves from a socialist-like country, which is what I'm hoping the U.S. will become. We should welcome socialism because it is for the good of the majority of the people, which is what government are set up to protect and promote.
You should go read the federalist papers and then come back here and delete your ignorant comment. The second amendment is the last balance of power against a tyrannical state. The founders realized that any organization can become corrupt and work against the purpose for which it was originally created so they gave the people the right to overthrow their government.
