@wildblur really? I was thinking of going to Greenland to pursue my RA career. Huh..never thought of going to where the jobs ARE.. thought they'd want to come to Greenland to have me work for them.

You go to Full Sail? That's incredible. I'm from that area :) I don't know if that college is for me, but the fact that you're there puts things into perspective.
@JordanClunn If you want to work in the audio/entertainment industry, Full Sail is a good choice..if you're rich enough to afford it. It is a great school, and has lots of awesome stuff to use to make your ascent into the industry easier, but you still have to work hard. Just like everyone else, but they can lengthen your reach to get to that cookie jar on the top shelf, it isn't a long extension, but if you're working hard enough to get close enough to reach it with their help, you'll make it
@DruoxTheShredder I'm actually a jazz pianist, so I'd prefer to work at Berklee. Right now seems to be their heyday, and I've talked to professionals about Full Sail (having seen ads for it everywhere) and they easy most of what it prepares you for really isn't a good job during this time, where producers like Bangladesh can be found in LA's vending machines :P
@JordanClunn I'm not going here to be a musician, go to Berkley for that. I'm here for audio engineering. I can just do all this other crap too on my own. lol
@JordanClunn th school isn't for everyone, and it isn't easy. But neither is working in entertainment. I love the school, and it has provided me with lots of awesome samples for my job interviews. So I have no complaints beyond the whole having to go to class at ungodly hours of the morning/night. No biggie, it's worth it to play with the toys they have there. Hahaha!

@dainsboy33 macs can't play games. And if you buy one that can, you wasted your money. The mac is used for college work/recording only. I have a PC to have fun and do things that require actual power on.
