Ill be honest. Creationism is just obvious to me. Life pretty much looks designed, no way around it. I scratch my head when people say that life was a chance occurrence. I know, DNA mutates and natural selection sifts through them and, as the theory goes, strains out the bad ones. But isn't it a tad hypocritical to demand proof for creation? I mean, the thing for which mutation occurs and NS takes place already exists, so can it not also be demanded that one prove that a cell can form at random?

Not even your senses are infallable. So you trust in something fallable to guide you through life. There is more to humans than flesh and bones. There is a conscience side to all of us that has a knowledge of right and wrong. This knowledge means that there is laws that govern right and wrong, which means there is a lawgiver whom I call Yahuwah, the creator of us and everything else. Besides observing YAH in creation we also see Him inside us having His knowledge of right and wrong.
I love how people call you blind for questioning outragouse claims. You make claims with no evidence at all and call us blind and close minded for not believing what you tell us. I find that really interesting. He told me to check out "a question of origins" and from there I saw kent hovind, and lee strobel, and all them. I got convinced of the opposite of what they were spewing because of how wrong all of it was. THEN I acquired more scientific knowledge.
i agree with you about everything except there being some special kind of human who doesn't have any conformation bias. we need to realize that we all want conformation for our dearly held beliefs so we can fight against it with skepticism and science.

I think it would have been more intellectually honest to say that you work to control confirmation bias, not that you don't have it. Science takes great measures to control for confirmation bias whereas religion supports it at every turn (everywhere you hear the word "interpret" means "according to my bias"). Science does this because it acknowledges it and it's tendency to produce falsehoods.

I was physically and emotionally ill, traumatized that my whole life was based on lies, starting with learning what evolution actually was. I almost didn't survive my breakdown. I'm glad I'm free, & would never give up that freedom. But it has cost me terribly.
I do have a problem with what some people believe and preach. I have strong reasons for that.

Not even your senses are infallable. So you trust in something fallable to guide you through life. There is more to humans than flesh and bones. There is a conscience side to all of us that has a knowledge of right and wrong. This knowledge means that there is laws that govern right and wrong, which means there is a lawgiver whom I call Yahuwah, the creator of us and everything else. Besides observing YAH in creation we also see Him inside us having His knowledge of right and wrong.

@rossini55 Yes Every sin will be forgiven but that is only toward the believer and the bible says that is done by Faith alone but not faith that is alone, James 2 states "Faith without works is dead. 1 john 3:6 says if one Goes on in sinning then he was never truly a believer thus you are not a believer and are not forgiven. @GurrenPrime That's exactly what happened. I got into a debate with my best friend (who was and still is a creationist) but I didn't know either way. He told me to check out "a question of origins" and from there I saw kent hovind, and lee strobel, and all them. I got convinced of the opposite of what they were spewing because of how wrong all of it was. THEN I acquired more scientific knowledge.

I think it would have been more intellectually honest to say that you work to control confirmation bias, not that you don't have it. Science takes great measures to control for confirmation bias whereas religion supports it at every turn (everywhere you hear the word "interpret" means "according to my bias"). Science does this because it acknowledges it and it's tendency to produce falsehoods.

Great video. The horrible truth is that SO many otherwise intelligent people still regard evolution to be 'unproven'. Even well educated members of my family - and I mean doctors, Oxford and Cambridge graduates come out with the SAME arguments as Comfort; because of their religion. It is SHOCKING! Here's my problem with this whole argument. Even IF creationists could disprove evolution, abiogenesis, and cosmology, et al, it still, in no way proves a god, never mind their specific god. That has been my latest tactic in debating with creationists. "Let's assume science is wrong, no evolution, no big bang, now, show me the evidence of your god"
We all know the answers. "What other explanation can there be?" Or "The evidence is all around us."
