  • echt heel erg knap!!!

  • 'Frans834, thank you for posting, the music and performance was outstanding. Just don't know how you manage to play so wonderfully with those large toe shoes. I just couldn't do it. I admire you greatly.

    Thanks

  • well done

  • thank you! the second part is als available

  • I appreciate your playing. YOu have a very good sense of tempo. You do not hesitate, although playing without an assistant to help w/ the stops and turn pages, I was amazed at how you kept you tempo so well, and many of the segments of this piece, I hear with a new ear because of your own type of playing. great ! sincerely, steve ader santa fe, new mexico u.s.a. All the best to you !

  • your version sounds simply beautiful + you´re really confident with your playing-speed, great!

  • Personally, I feel it's easier to play out of my head than from looking at sheetmusic, because that way my poor lil brain doesn't have to do too many things at once. I think people who can READ sheetmusic and play simultaneously should be given as much credit as those who don't.

  • does anybody know if the baroque pedals were meant to be pressed with toes and heel?

  • Ha ha, i do have organ shoes, but i simply forgot to put them on.

  • for baroque it is better to play with toes. But that is not always possible. I also play romantic organ music, my pedal technique is "to much mix"

  • i dont like the pedal tecnic

  • Those aren't good shoes for organ playing. He'd almost be better off barefoot. He plays really nicely so I'm surprised he doesn't have organ shoes.

  • But you have enough reason, in really it he play very well my English is a bit bad.(Disculpa, mi ingles es un poco malo En fin, la verdad si toco muy bien el tipo)

    Saludos

  • Complimenten!

    [plz forgive my poor Dutch]

  • Dat bedoel ik dus!

  • one of Bachs's best pieces in my opinion

  • THE best in mine. =)

  • the best EVER WRITTEN in mine.

  • Great performance.

But the instrument looks like an electric home organ.

    Great sound anyways...

  • What, are you kidding me? That is a fine mechanical action instrument. I am guessing Dutch, and I am guessing Flentrop. There are no "eletric home organs" that even come close to this sound and craftsmanship.

  • My comment was just relating to its look.

Sorry, I didn't express myself properly.

The cable on the ground just made it look like a little organ in a small room.

Of course it's not a home organ.

  • i dont think its a digital organ, since if it was , i would certainly have more stops.

  • Perfect. You are a candidate, who should play this piece in Ottobeuren Germany, where Karl Richter has played it

  • Oh, yes, Richter's is stellar. Someday I hope to play it too! ^^

  • i love this song to death! passacaglia and fugue in c minor! i luv it! i'm so happy to see somebody playing it! and very well!

  • fantastic performance

  • Bravo, from Hong Kong. I can offer to turn the pages and pull those handles for you. Are you going to play Toccata and Fugue?

  • Wow is this a residence organ? It has good tone and acoustics.

  • You are truly someone who has mastered this organ. Well done, I loved it.

  • You play that well, eventually you'll get the ORGAN you need. Keep playing, you sight read well, however your shoes were rather large, get some organ shoes. smile

  • Who is the instrumentalist and on what organ? I really enjoyed the video.

  • Nice playing Frans!keep up the good work;)

    Gr Wouter 2

  • Thank you for your reaction (i think i know you!)

  • lol

  • Dit is echt goed! Ik hou ook van deze Passacaglia. Heb je de versie van Koopman gehoord? Groeten

  • Leuk, een reactie in het Nederlands. Nee ik ken die van Ton Koopman niet. Kan ik die ergens beluisteren?

  • Very nice

  • Thank you for your reaction. Im am an amateur organist near Amsterdam. This is my favorite peace, not easy for me as you will understand. The only problem is: my organ is much too small for this kind of music. I even have no principal (praestant) 8' only 4'. My wish is an organ with a little more "body".

  • I just purchased a small Viscount Vivace for my apartment, know what you mean. I am so limited to what I can do. A nice organ is a good thing ;-)

It sounded great... post more sometime.

  • part 2 is coming (fuga)

  • You played this piece excellent, keep playing the organ was bright and clear.

  • Too bad, I play at the St. Cecilias cathedral in omaha Nebraska it is huge. Look it up, made by pasi organ builders
