If you cant make your game GOOD or at least consistently interesting to play.

Make it easy. leave weapons EVERYWHERE, half enemies HP. I get survival horror. But health packs that heal 1/5 (really 1/4) health, weapons that break, and enemies that take multiple multi combo hits does not a fun game make. If you ran through this game killing everything in one hit. you would be a badass. That would be fun to see.

Besides a handful of basic coping strategies, the flow of conversation constantly runs them into jams, skips, errors and loops etc. The brain simply doesn't understand how to process it....
