  • ahhhh so great

  • @kmcroomsfuneralhome haha i know a whole lot about boxing and just cause there my top 3 favorite ever how does that decide for you that i don't know boxing?

  • the best fighter of all time!!!!

  • my top 3 favorite fighters ever 1. manny pacquiao 2.marvin hagler 3.floyd mayweather jr

  • @AliRidah619 then u dnt knw shit about boxing

  • 26 people clearly still haven't got over the whippin' the marvelous one give them..

  • I'd like to see amazing technology bring Hagler into today's MW division, or against prime Hopkins. It would be amazing.

  • The greatest. Thank you Marvin for everything you gave us

  • best ever middleweight.

  • @roundypie really well all i hav to say is RAY ROBINSON

  • At last a decent song to go with a cracking vid

  • Hagler was one of the greatest. Sugar Ray ran and ran from him in his gay little win in their last fight. He knew he could not stand with him toe to toe so he ran from a superior boxer.

  • what an era Hagler , Duran , Hearns , Leonard But marvellous is just that.

  • Best video on youtube. Not best boxing video.

    Best video period.

  • at about 2 10 then he was in red trunks who was he fighting?id like to sdee the match

  • @bojack335 - The fight was at the spectrum in Philly. My best guess is Bobby Watts.

  • @1899sharkey thanks looks like a good one, hes not usually that agile

  • Joe Louis is the greatest but Hagler is definitely in my top 5

  • Man, he really is scary. Few would wanna bang with him. He'd kill Hopkins and the great fighters of today

  • Hagler's immensely powerful but a prime Roy Jones Jr. would probably kill him even if Hagler was in his prime.

  • one of the great ones, who got out of the ring at the right time

  • The Marvelous One was The greatest MW 1 Hagler 2 Greb 3 Monzon 4 Hopkins 5 Robinson Hearns 6 Walker I put the 4 ahead of robinson because imo they all wouldve won 2 out of 3 against robinson Im not sure about Hagler and Monzon Hagler wasnt ready for monzon before 1980 after hed win a decision against him, Hopkins 20 defenses says alot oabout him, Robinson could win the title but he lost it 5 times as well he was like duran moving up in weight he had great nights but had bad nights too

  • very accuratee nd hes soo fucking heavy handed its not evn funny..

  • first of all great song. the best middleweight of all time. hagler could box, brawl, jab, power in both hands, and a chin of granite. one of the most complete fighters ever.

  • IM METING HIM TOMORROW IN LONDON

  • Great fighter. Second best to Ray Leonard.

  • the greatest middleweight of all time with a jaw of granite.

  • Hagler held off on killing Mintor because he actually wanted to leave the arena safely. Hagler could have left him in a body bag if he wanted to.

  • i love hagler he's my 2nd favorite fighter ever

  • I would give my left arm to get to see a Monzon-Hagler fight. Same general time periods, both men utterly dominated their divisions for a decade.

  • gsp msg

  • Marvelous was unique in his class in that he used stealth and patience and of course, power shots, to stalk down his opponents. His hand speed was deceptive. He could blast a few body shots and be out of there before you knew it. Marvin 's great trait, I think, was a combination of power, tenaciousness, if i spellled that correctly, and smarts. One of the best.....Marvelous Marvin Hagler.

  • @rmachayes I think you meant tenacity and I agree.

  • Marvellous Marvin..... The standard to which ALL middleweights should aspire to.

  • Hagler is truely one of the toughest guys i ever seen

  • Amazing skill at 2:05 !!!

  • One of the best counter punchers ever - extremely dangerous moving backwards. "Kill the body, and the head will fall"

  • @1899sharkey

Class? Since when was breaking the jaw of a woman considered class? because thats exactly what Hagler did.

  • @tapiaassasin Well he probably broke some male jaws too. Suddenly there is a problem? Sexist.

  • Hagler was a great fighter to watch but he's also very overrated on an ATG basis.A champion of a weak middleweight division with only one win over a great fighter and a hypocrite that called out fighters from lower weight classes but never dared to move up a division himself.

  • @tapiaassasin You ever hear of Cyclone Hart, Willie Monroe, Bennie Briscoe? These are guys he beat before he won the titile. Hagler was pretty much the perfect middleweight, 5'91/2" 159 lbs, the only reason fighters move up now is to chase money and/or they get lazy. Hagler's training regimen makes todays training look pedestrian.

  • @Dynomikeo If I was wearing boots like Hagler did his road work....I can't even go there. Much respect. Hagler is in my top 3,along with Robinson and Jack Dempsey.

  • class act !! always fought the fight in the ring, not with his mouth out of the ring!! boxing needs more like him today.

  • Hagler Was an incredible fighter easily a p4p alltime great he went to school in the 70s fighting charactor defining fighters like bennie briscoe, willie monroe, antefermo, alen mintor, really rough guys

  • MARVELOUS!

  • i seem to have something against southpaws,i just dont like the muthafuckers LOL..

  • il meraviglioso!

  • he had an unmatched mix of brutality, skill and ringsmarts. Great!

  • Baddest mofo ever !

  • Best pound for pound fighter Ive ever seen. Could take incredible punishment and dish it right back. That night he destroyed Alan Minter you just knew he was very special.

  • @ashmiles Alan Minter ?? U smokin jokin, he was special when he beat Roberto Duran, Tommy Hearns & dished out a beating 2 Sugar Ray Leonard. White Anglo Saxon Peasant Minter was not skilled enough 2 have 2 face those deadly pugilists.

  • @The24KaratBlack Before he fought Minter very few in Britain had heard of Hagler. Even Minter knew little about him. As he himself said after the fight "He was a lot bigger than I thought he was when I stood next to him and he just seemed like a rock". You forget Minter WAS the world champion at the time and there was only one belt for each weight in those days.

  • @ashmiles I appreciate the achievements of many Boxers but when it comes down 2 the middleweight & welterweight divisions back in the days, 2 earn my respect U had 2 have fought Duran, Hearns, Leonard or Hagler & given them concern 4 like 7 or more rounds. Micheal Nunn, James Toney & even Roy Jones Jnr who did they really defeat 2 gain recognition, when James Toney fought Roy Jones Jnr that was their only real challenges.

  • No one would probably agree to this but THUMBS UP if you think there should be a movie about Marvin Hagler because I just saw Hagler's documentary and it seems quite interesting.

  • @Brownpride480 There should be, I agree. But there probably won't be because, assuming we saw the same documentary, it would make Leonard look bad and Leonard is more likely to get a movie made about him.

  • was he tall for his weight division??

    someone please tell me :)

  • @Josh1Hitch1 not at all, a saw a pic of him and Bernard, and B-Hop looked way taller, he was like 5' 9" and a half or 5' 10", but he was great! non off this era would have beaten him, he was just Marvelous, he was a beast!

  • @ps3alexpr i agree

  • the most marvelous of them all. the best fighter, of all time...all time...

  • @chaseman12

I agree that Marvin was the best middleweight of all time period , Pound for pound then Id go for Duran as a 26 yr old lightweight .

  • Simply put Marvin was a Beast!! He chopped up some really bad boys. undefeated for 10 years. Comparing alltime great, middleweights Id put Greb-over 300 career fights, Monzonu-unbeaten for 10 yrs, Hagler, Hopkins, In any order. Then others like Robinson, Freddie steele, Basilio, Lamotta, I put robinson in this group because He lost most of his fight at middle weight, which basicaly shows that he could be beat.

  • We need boxers like Marvin Hagler again because he had a lot of heart for the sport comparing to not all but most boxers of nowadays.

  • Marvin was special. I doubt we'll see the likes of him again. His most impressive feat was walking away from boxing and NEVER coming back.He shits more class than Ray Leonard and Mayweather have combined.

  • Hagler and Duran are KINGS!!

  • I never realized what great accuracy he had

  • @libidooverdrive that was a combination of perferct timing and keeping his oppents were he wanted them to be . that is why he was i masterful boxer . his foot work as a boxer was positioning himself along with perfect timing to hit you .

  • love how @ 3:48, after all that mayhem, both fighters stop, walk slowly to thier corners , just glaring at each other. Those were the days...

  • I was at wembly when hagler beat minter, i consider myself lucky to have seen the greatest middleweight of all time, hagler was a pure fighter, no bullshit, no weight jumping to win bits of titles in different divisions, no excuses, just the undisputed middle weight champ, all challengers welcome. never hurt, never knocked down (roldons was bullshit) the last of the old time greats, couldn't get leonard back in the ring so walked away..forever...legend

  • @duskejw

were you one of the bums who started through beer bottles at him after he won?

  • @duskejw he was a smart man and should have been fighting to unify the titles.he was not a true middleweight his natural normal weight was 190.he could shrink down before a fight and put on all that wieght again next day.thats why he always looked bigger and thicker than most of his opponents.he went down to fight leonard which makes your statement stale and tasteless.why couldnt he fight a bigger man that would have slugged not boxed and circle like ray was know for,ray out boxed the bigger man

  • @dru713281 look, i understand english is not your first language, but not in a million years could my comment be called tastless....your post however is a fabrication of facts...hagler was a middle weight throughout his career, he never went ' down' to meet anybody, every challenge was at middleweight, his fighting weight was middle weight, he never struggled to meet the weight, often coming in a couple of pounds under the limit, also he was shorter at 5-9 1/2 then most opponents..facts please!!

  • @duskejw fact is your gonna believe whatever rolls off that smelly lil tongue of yours if i was next to you id cut that slimy booger covered snake like thing outa your mouth slap the shit out of you with it and stick it so far up your black hole of an ass that the slime from your mucus would quench your thirst and then i would send you depends pampers for the next couple of days autographed in my pits dog shit because i wouldnt give you a squirt of piss if you were thrown in a gay lake of fire !

  • Great vid. I was a Hagler fan in the 80s and he immortalized himself against Hearns. Blood streaming down Hagler's face, the ringside doctor is called up to take a look, and Hagler goes into berzerk mode and puts Hearns on the canvas.

  • @High5Brah the boxing establishment just didnt want hagler to beat carloz monzons record, did you know carlos monzons family presented hagler with monzons record beltsfor most defences after his death, because they new he would of beat it

  • @High5Brah equal, srl demanded a bigger ring so he could run, didnt want 12-15 round chose 10 and wanted bigger gloves to take the sting off haglers power, the fight was engineered so all srl had to do was go the distance, hager agreed to the terms just to get him in the ring after trying for so many years, if srl had any balls he would of fought he years ago in haglers prime, he was getting hit abit more by the time this fight came along, then to top it off woudnt give him a rematch---

  • Hagler was the greatest pure warrior in boxing history, Holyfield a close second.

Leonard didn't beat Hagler-He escaped an old Hagler. In his prime Hagler beats any middleweight in history.

Haglers biggest test was against a prime 26-0(26) Mugabi. Mugabi truly was a beast at that time and Hagler ruined him forever-Mugabi never came back.

Noone ever beat Hagler-they survived him.

  • @commonsensrules I remember when Mugabi was feared. Hagler took his soul after that fight

  • @commonsensrules i dont agree with you because its hard to measure against holyfied because he went through fights with a hole in his heart, had two shoulder operations, began his career as a middleweight winning that division and moving up to light heavy and eventually heavyweight champion. every fight at heavyweight he would go the distance and always seemed to be smaller but could take so much punishment with his huge arms and forehead.hagler was great but im sure even marvelous would vote evan

  • @dru713281 what are you talking about? geez! all you gotta do is look at boxrec to see what weights he fought at..

  • @DrShittyBottomHammer man go back to school someone said hagler is the best of all time, i say that is bogus because holyfield started at haglers division won that title, and began a program that added 30 lbs of granit to his body so he could go up in lbs and fight with the big boys, on top of that he had many health issues and he was a true fighter because he had no fear of anyone but god so he took punches that would put many boxers in retirement!.anyone who does this deserves title best ever

  • @dru713281 Holyfield never ever fought as a middleweight, not even at light heavy, he was a cruiserweight from day one, hagler was only ever a middleweight, your post is wrong ...and a bit weird

  • @dru713281 holyfeild had heart but was was never a pound for pound fighter . pound for pound means in any weight his style of fighting is the best . hagler was voted that honor many times and for many years . also holyfeild never started as a middleweight .

  • @pb8700538 hagler never went up 30lbs in weight to fight for the heavyweight title nor did he fight opponents that still overpowered him by 15 to 30 pounds in those title fights, holyfield in his early years was a middle weight then when he turned pro he fought at 180 or cruserwieght.after gaining that title he wanted more so he went into a program to bulk up to 30lbs than his average fighting weight.he won the heavyweight title on more than once and to me your saying he is not pound for pound?

  • @pb8700538 holyfeild never was a middleweight , he won the olympics as a light heavyweight . and holyfeild could not knock out a fighter with both hands , holyfeild could not fight either south paw or right handed like hagler and used steroids to bulk up to a heavyweight . and i do not know of any heavyweight you wanted to fight hagler because could still fight a heavyweight at middleweight weight . look up stan ketchel vs. jack johnson right here on youtube right now .

  • @pb8700538 i looked up his bio and thats where i get the facts, where you found yours mayber by word of mouth but your wrong, and the steroids bs you put out there shows me you are a small man and your lazy.i was 160 lbs of fat terd,i worked out in the gym like going to church everyday and did it for 2 years,i only ate legumes fish chicken vegatables and plant protein supplement.i went up to 213lbs 13% body fat.now im 256 because of a knee injurys and i still have my muscle from 14 months ago!!!

  • @pb8700538 and to prove your theory wrong again steroid users gain size from their pecs and become violent and moody with bad acne, when on the juice you gain alot of size and strenth but once you cut back and stop with the testatorone shot you shrink back down almost 10 to 30 lbs.a real athlete with blessed genetics just has the body type for it and will look better because of their diet.many who dont understand the fact that its not at all what you do in the gym but what you eat and how u eat!!

  • @dru713281 yea well your theories happen to just that theories . they always lie in there bio , second a distant uncle of mine happes to be the WBA & WBC boxing comissioner and ever now and then we talk about boxing . his name is bobby lee , and your wrong because holyfeild never started pro boxing as a middleweight , fact he won the olympics as a light heavyweight and started pro boxing at that weight . last are you watching this video and see hagler switch from southpaw to right hand stance

  • @pb8700538 still truth in my fact that you get yours from someones mouth instead of a credible bio not promoted for himself but lists many other fighters feats in their careers, the fact is no one else has done what holyfield did and furthermore the man still fights at 50 yrs yound just like joe luis used to do when he retired from boxing broke and worked as a door man taking fights for 10 bucks.what im saying is a true fighter test his abilities and its cruserweight not light heavy, bowe vs holy

  • @dru713281 a bio idiot does not mean it is truth , a boxing commissioner is truth . could holyfeild knock out a another boxer with both hands , could holyfeild change from right hand stance to southpaw stance in a spilt second the anwser no no and no . your a waste of time so go comment on holyfeids videos .

  • @pb8700538 could hagler take tysons punches and keep coming, could he take bowe best uppercut weapon over and over and still stay on his feet, did hagler fight in three diffrent weight divisions and become champion in each, did he train so hard for 2 years in the weight room lifting weight a boxers sin just so he could fight the bigger stronger opponents, did he ever fight 12 rounds with half of his heart not working properly, did he recieve 2 shoulder surgeries only to come back from them and fight!

  • @dru713281 you absolutely know nothing about boxing , why do you think i told you to look up stan ketchel vs. jack johnson right here on youtube . ketchel is a middle weight and johnson a heavyweight . because a middleweight combines the speed of a lightweight with the puching power of a heavyweight . and yes i do think he could take tyson puches because everyone will tell you that is how hard hearns punches were when he fought as a middleweight .

  • @pb8700538 did he fight outside his comfort zone once he dominated his weight class,no he went down in weight to fight a smaller leonard who was a pure boxer and did not want to trade shots with a guy who goes down in weight so he can overpower the smaller opponents,i dont believe hagler was the greatest he was just a great bully, and that southpaw to conventional conversion your talking about does not make you great,.i bet you dont even know why this is effective and whats its true purpose was!!

  • @dru713281 your logic is absolutely bullshit , so that means tyson is not great even tough he only fought in heavyweight . and lets not stop there ali was not great because he did not come from the light heavyweigt like holyfeid and on and on and on . now do you see why your a waste of my time . get fuck out of here , i told you go comment on holyfeilds videos .

  • @pb8700538 my logic is fine it you that is misunderstanding what im saying and its probably because you think you know everything andare blinded because of your hand in your own oppression,to be a boxer is hard i know i am an amatuer and i tell my pupils everyday that i wish they wouldnt choose boxing as a way to earn money but more for a way to become a strong intelligent thinking first individual who uses the science to relieve stress,to fight bigger guys who hit harder is brave to win is epic

  • @pb8700538 why the fuck would anybody go back down the mountain you dumb fuck head tyson was heavyweight your the biggest division on the planet you must be getting high off that meth your making in your tub make some fuckin logic of your comments instead of being full of hate you sick twisted looney selfish cant win an arguement stupid green idiot jackass fuck face playing with your daddys monkey nuts son of a bitch donkey cock suckin loser hairy stinky horse manure smellin ass hole!

  • @dru713281 loser if your not a pro boxer it's because you have no heart no balls who sucks cocks . and it is because you were born from a she/males ass who is one ugly mother fucker that just happens to be an idiot who knows nothing about boxing even after looking up ketchel vs. johnson and i will not waste my time explaining to a loser like you fuck face . so get out of boxing and make your penis bigger so you can get laid instead of playing with yourself on youtube moran lmao " FUCK YOU '

  • @dru713281 you must be posting the dumbest crap on any boxing site, hagler was the best, middleweight was his division, none of these multi fucking title holders are held in the esteem that hagler is, at least by those who know boxing and have boxed, you know fuck all and would take 3 days to figure out how to put a mouth guard in...now go back to your barbie she male dolls.

  • @pb8700538 and do you also see hagler in this video knock out or knock down his opponets with both hands , or do you need glasses " IDIOT " . fuck you and your bullshit theories .

  • @dru713281 no way ho;lyfdield was ever a middle weight, proabably when he was about 15-16 the mans a heavy weight, thats the same kind of stupid remark as ive heard like hagler sholud of moved up to light heavy and fought spinks, haglers small for a middle, you seen him next to benard hopkins he looks like a welter

  • @frisbyrb5 if you do some research you will see there is a reason he is called warrior, just look at his docu and you will see he couldnt stay middle cruser because the big fights were at heavyweight so he went into a program for 2 years to put on 30lbs of weight and fight for the heavyweight title.evander was smaller in every fight he took giving away 20 to 30 lbs in heavyweight fights.Any boxer or fighter will tell you that what holyfield did is the mark of a fearless man.who else has done this

  • @dru713281 holyfields about the same build as spinks, do you think hagler should of moved up from middle to light heavy to take on spinks, the spinks who fought at light heavy then later fought tyson at heavy? holyfiled mite of fought at middle as a young man, but out grew the division, his way to big, he fought tyson and lewis, can u imagine hagler against lennox lewis?

  • @frisbyrb5 yes i could , again watch stan ketchel vs. jackjohnson right here on youtube . but a better match for lewis would be thomas hitman hearns when hearns was a middleweight .

  • @frisbyrb5 hagler could have if he wanted to for himself and for the fans, step up and fight at higher weight classes.hoyfield put on 30lbs and did it for himself because he is a true warrior and wanted to fight the best in the world because in his mind he was! i dont know about you but to have a guy want to battle the champions that were taller bigger and stronger than you are naturally, why cant you see that by that fact alone he had more fight in him than hagler!

  • @dru713281 back when hagler fought there wasnt no cruiser weight or inbetween division it was middle then light heavy, holyfield put on 30lbs ok, but his naturally bigger than hagler, i can tell by the way you think you have never been in the ring, theres a reason there are weight classes in fighting, because size does make a difference, why not just go all out and match hagler against lennox lewis or geroge forman.

  • @frisbyrb5 OH yes its true i love sparring and i find a good match for me all the time but a guy who fights at his natural 160 and beats everyone and does not challenge himself to move up in weight to fight bigger guys since he so much stronger than others at his weight to me is not someone that is better than an individual who does fight at his natural weight but says to himself he can beat guys naturally bigger and stronger than he is works his ass off to bulk up and wins that division.Legend!

  • @dru713281 ok so who do you think would win in a light heavy weight match up hagler or holyfield?? do you think hagler could compete with tyson at heavyweight??

  • @frisbyrb5 i think that hagler would give holyfield trouble later on in the fight since his speed and accuracy wont suffer to much since he is naturally smaller and better condiontioned also haglers muscle mass required less oxygen so he can go the distance what would make the diffrence is if holyfield sat back and waited to see if hagler slowed down or just go after the smaller man smothering him with a push jab and fighting on da inside i see hagler winning7ko win holyfield in the 11th by Tko!

  • @frisbyrb5 if hagler fought tyson i think that is a toss up,tysons power and constant pressure would stagger hagler because hagler fights squared style so his body would sit there while tyson was slippin haglers jab,if hagler can survive da 6 rounds tyson would attack and use his energy in every shot i believe hagler was skilled enough to win a decision against tyson, holyfield style is beter built for tysons pressure since holyfield is taking your power early and finishing strong late, holyfield

  • @dru713281 Which Tyson are we talking about? The Tyson pre-Buster Douglass or the one after that fight? Tyson circa 85 to 89 in my opinion would brutalize any opponent in boxing history besides Sugar Ray Robinson! He was a machine that sports writers EASILY felt could've been the greatest fighter ever. Mike Tyson, Sugar Ray Robinson, Ali, Sugar Ray Leanard, Floyd Mayweather etc...those guys were of a different breed in terms of talent. Mike had the talent to be a master but he lost his focus!

  • if hagler fought leonard like he fought hearns just aggresively went right after leonard... he shouldve just went with body shots all night

  • This guys my hero

  • 2:25...mouth piece fly out from right hook? 0.0

  • @jhuan0 It`s been a long time here too.And this was a fight that had everything from the crowd to the sportswriters divided in their opinions..If only todays boxingscene had been HALF that of the 70`s and 80`s.

  • WAS HE LEFT HANDED OR RIGHT HANDED?

  • @3876samf he was ambidextrous

  • @Blacktigre6969 i read he was left handed, but was trained as an othodox, because southpaws couldnt get fightsback then so easily

  • @3876samf He was a switch hitter. Dont really see many effective switch hitters in boxing anymore. Its perfect for throwing a monkey wrench in a counter punchers style. They never can get the timing for it perfectly.

  • @High5Brah Oh i have watched it many times.Look at Hearns vs John Mugabi and tell me that`s Hagler at his best. That was b4 "Leonard came out of retirement" That was just another way of putting "waiting Hagler out".AND Hagler beeing the champ,i say again:The challenger is suppose to take the fight to the champ.Leonard did no such thing.EMBARRASSED Hagler??Come on!"taking Hagler to school,EMBARRASED him"?? At best it was even, and in a titlefight "even" means the champ retains the title.I`m done

  • @EVILSPAWN1000

There is nothing written in the rules of boxing that state the challenger has to take the fight to the champion. The judges score a fight round by round. Leonard was smart and outboxed Hagler IMO.He used the ring, made him miss, and landed the cleaner punches. But it was a very close fight, with many close rounds.

  • @jhuan0 I know it`s not WRITTEN in the queensburyrules or the 10 must but still,a title should be TAKEN,not "change owner" in a even fight.10 must awards for dominance. There was no dominance from Leonards side.In my opinion Leonard is overrated.NOT saying he`s less than a brilliant fighter, and doesn`t deserve a "ATG status",but he can`t walk on water like some ppl seem to think.

  • @High5Brah "Leonard took him to school, embarrased him"??? Are you fucking KIDDING??? Leonard ducked him for YEARS till Hagler was past peak. And even THEN he was robbed. The challenger is supposed to take the fight to the champ, but Leonard was doing nothing but running. The victory was a christmaspresent to Leonard from the judges.Go learn your boxing history, and try again!

  • Hagler vs. Hearns. Gotta be one of the best fights ever. Mofos could level builds with the stuff they were throwing. Awesome!

  • @KwongYikHang IS the best "short fight" ever:-) And rnd 1 is the best ROUND ever.Hearns broke his hand about 90 sec into rnd 1 and fought ferociously till the end.Didn`t blame the loss on his hand, didn`t bitch and whine about it,in fact didn`t TELL about it so not to take anything away from Hagler. That`s more than can be said about a certain HW with his broken pinkietoe....... True sportsmen and warriors

  • Hagler was a freak. Trained hard, fought hard, never gave up. Not a very accurate puncher, not a very technical boxer, but he had heart and chin and he could knock you out with any punch by any hand. That's KO power.

  • this guy is MARVELOUS.

  • jesus fuckin christ why ruin this vid with that fuckin gay music

  • @Russtoldmeso24

    Thanks.

But i always had Leonard winning.

IMO he outboxed Hagler, scored more, made Hagler miss badly.

  • @jhuan0 That is such a mark comment. Yeah, Leonard got the W, but he did not be Hagler. Then the pussy wouldnt even give Hagler a rematch. Shows what kind of fighter and man Leonard is.

  • @Russtoldmeso24 @jhuan0,I apologize fro my harsh comments,I just get fired up about this subject, let`s just say Ray "Stole the show" that night....!!!

  • @Russtoldmeso24 And BTW,I love this video you put together...!!! Great music by a great musician, and a great fighter...!!!

  • Best middle weight ever

  • ..

  • nothing pretty about him, not exciting to watch, but probably the most durable boxer of all time. never seen him on the canvas and he always just keeps coming like Smokin' Joe but more rugged.

  • the hardest fighter ever and had some seriuos skills.

marvin was probably the greatest middleweight of all time

    along with monzon.

  • Thanx!! Gr8 Video!!!!

  • Big money, bought and paid for refs. Ruining one part of the great art. All that hugging they let go on could. Would of been solved by some good elbows. Hagler is my favorite boxer of all time and he was robbed in the Leonard fight. Punches didn't even movie his face. He rocked a decade.. Boxing robbed him of his true legacy. total bullshit! Just like America is right now....erick

  • @CovenantOfLove your so wak.

  • Comment removed

  • Hagler beat Leonard.

  • @Tensolator hell yeah.. with out blinking

  • I wonder how long Gayweather would last against MARVELOUS in his prime lol

  • @DtretcHx we all no the answer to that.....floyd would never get in the ring with him. hagler was to good and floyd would never fight someone that good. he wont even fight a little dude like pacquaio let alone a beast like hagler

  • MARVELOUS MARVIN HAGLER

  • some people mistake hagler for a brawler but he was actualy a truly great tactition.

if you watch his fight with alan minter or vito antoufermo you will see what i am

talking about. in his fight with ray leonard he was past his prime and wasnt at his best

but if hagler was in his prime he would have no doubt have beaten ray leonard but take nothing away from ray he was a great fighter but not as good as hagler i believe

Couldn't of said it better myself man. Hagler would rather break the will of his opponents by out-boxing them. He would only get in to a wild war if he had to. Most people don't know shit about boxing, and they think Hagler was just a wild brawler.

  • @antonceta1 hagler never would've beat leonard in his prime cuz ray never would've dared 2 get in the ring with a prime hagler. and besides a hagler near the end of the line actually did beat leonard but the judges were always in love with ray so hagler had to win by KO or jus totally mop the ring up w/ray in order 2 get a fair shake

  • Haglar Vs Hearns

    BEST FIGHT EVER.

  • This guy was a legend, my favourite boxer. I reckon he should of one that fight when he fought sugar ray leonard, his last fight im pretty sure...that was so rigged.

  • Marvin was an atg but Imo Fitzsimmons,Greb,Robinson, Ketchel and Monzon all would beat him. Marvin would easily beat Hopkins and Jones.

  • @1899sharkey

LOL, trust me Marvin would have whooped all of those fighters you mentioned with EASE. The only fighter I think who could stand a chance would be Carlos Monzon, and if he won, it would definitely be by decision. No middleweight in history could knock Marvin down, letalone knock him out.

  • @1899sharkey

Lmao, I hope you are saying that as a joke, because if not you are delusional. No middleweight in history could knock Hagler down letalone KO him. You are a fool.

  • Hagler= GOD of WAR

  • I can't believe that in BoxingRec Dick Tiger, tough tho' he was, could be rated ahead of Hagler. In my other post I said Robinson, Hagler or Monzon the best middleweights probably of all time, because who the hell can tell how Harry Greb or Stanley Ketchel would have done against them?

  • match-making: hagler v. monzon, the winner to fight robinson - result the best middle-weight since WW11, probably of all time.

  • Sugar ray robinson vs Marvin hagler would of been the best fight ever in the history of boxing either man would not get knocked out!

  • No doubt, one of the GREATEST fighters of all time, it's incomprenssible how he isn't famous as other fighters

  • decades ago. When I fought, I wanted to figet three and four times a month. I didn't care who it was because I ALWAYS had that same mentality. No picking and chosing an opponent crap. You think in war one can pick and chose? No, You pick up a weapon and fight. Period.

  • These fighters back then, especially Hitman Hearns and the Marvelous one. Would have destroyed todays fighters. The De La Hoyas, Mayweathers, etc all pussys. These great men back in the 60's-early 80's were true warriors. Fighting a 15 round fight alone was an altogether different mentality. The current true two fighters left active are Bernard Hopkins and the Real Deal Holyfield. Some fighters today are good, but there true grit, and warrior attitude doesn't compare to those guys 3 and 4...

  • hagler had a strong will to win the fight, matter of a fact, his will to win was unparraleld

  • Everybody who says Marvin was only dominant because of his chin is wrong. Hagler had a great chin don't get me wrong, but it was his MENTALITY and state-of-mind that made him what he is. He absolutely HATED backing down from anybody no matter how strong or how powerful they were. He would not take a backward step against anyone and he is my all time favourite. I just wish another Marvin Hagler would come along. I MISS YOU MARVIN!

  • Hagler fighting is like watching honey flow from a tin. My favorite fighter ever.

  • Brilliant Video! After Ali he is truly the greatest fighter that has ever lived. He never shyed away from anyone and was a true champion at probably the greatest time for middleweight Boxing>

  • is big daddy cool coming out

  • voodoochile....jimmy hendrix song

  • whats the song?

  • He beat Sugar Ray too!

  • Greatest there ever was and ever will be. He fought anybody
