Nintendo E3 06 Fan Reactions 6

Oh my such an awesome E3. I didn't start watching the Conferences on my own until around 2007, but my cousin watched the ones before then. All I really remember of this E3 is watching G4 and Kristen Adams (then Holt) saying Super Mario Galaxy. Never even hearing about the game, I swore it had something to do with Super Mario World, but bigger. I was not disappointed when I finally saw what it was. Man, on the horizon of a new console, I hope it is as exciting as what the Wii was when shown.

I hope Project H.A.M.M.E.R doesn't become Nintendo's "Duke Nukem Forever"

I believe Nintendo had the decency to officially cancel it if I remember correctly. If you notice, the Project H.A.M.M.E.R logo they used at E3 2006 was in the same font as the "MOTHER" logo, and that probably somehow doomed it to the same realm as the EarthBound (NES), EarthBound64, and the English version of MOTHER 3. :P

Secret Rings was up against Sonic '06 for the 360 and PS3, so given the choice you'd know it could be a lot worse. Also considering it had a smaller budget than Sonic '06.

The Project Hammer title used the same font as the MOTHER logo, that probably doomed it somehow. :P

It just... GAH it makes me SO MAD about Project Hammer.... I don't care that it probably would've been not that great... but it just makes me made that they didn't even try.

At least we get Fragile and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.

Too bad Red Steel turned out pretty weak. The multiplayer was cool though.
