@dylsage26 they should fit most 12". I probably wouldnt keep themon p3's, the thing about the spinners is that they restrict the space needed for the subs vibrate. P3's are pretty powerful and i know they bang harder and thus resonate more than the p2s so be careful you dont catch the spinners and rip your sub. I got them on ebay, you can find them in bestbuy, and the neon i got at cdntire for like 30.00

I have a RF system to. I have a single 15 inch punch. I chose it old school tho. It is seriously from 1994 we have refurbished it because the rubbers were blown off. I originally had 3 of them and 2 jl 12's but sold the jl's bc they sucked lol. The other two rf's blew on the song put on lol. So i have only 1 15 that still pwns lol. It runs 1000 wats from a kole pro audio. I also have rockford 6 1/2's for my car. I have a 1984 Merc Grand Marquis LS. Blue LED's that flash with the base to ;)

if you face your subs forward it sounds weaker inside i have a fosgate system actually ive had two and my p3 12 was way louder then this and it was faced backwards and it was just as loud outside as inside my new system is 2 p2 12 and they are faced backwards and its the same with them i think you should research some more haha i work in this business ;)

@JerryCfan its the smallest box you can or should use with the subs, im not sure on the specs of the box, once they're in, they kinda stay in, but with some struggle i was able to squeeze it in the trunk on an angle.

I have the grills but it says hook up wire to a 12v, there is no wire unless i have to buy my own and hook them up to the grill. Also the grills wont go on the subs. Do you have any pics to help thanks

hmmm, they shouldve come with wires, unless you bought them used and someone cut them off. You can use any simple wires, say...Quad or..actually any gauge will do. The grilles do fit if you have 12 inch subs, you have to really slam them in there, they're designed not to come off, just push a little harder or warm them up so the plastic stretches more. I didn't think they fit either till i kept trying

Thanks for the reply got them to work, found the wire it was a pain taking the ring off. And found my power source i will just connect them to the amp i try them and they work just need extra wire to feed them to the amp.

I actually recommend not hooking them up to the amp. I did that with an LED strip and it blew the LED's one by one until I had 3 left. I guess the higher the volume the more power it will put to them. I'm not sure if it is because I hooked them to the wire +/- or not, but they were destroyed within a week.

you need a battery source, the wires from the grilles, take them and wire them up to a 12V source. All i did was put an alarm system battery (way big enough to power them for years), as long as its 12V, hook up positive, negative, and voila, done. I put mine in a black box to protect connection and look better.

value: rockfords, they're dirt cheap, especially in the states

If you're in the states, subs in general are cheap, kciekrs are so totally worth it, here in canada, kickers are a bit harder to find, esp. than rockfords, and a hell fo a lot more expensive.

hmmm, the neons arent hard to do at all really, you just need an external batt, i used a 12V battery you'd find in a residential security system (plugged into the panel) and through it in a black box screwed into my trunk floor (its my own custom fit design) the spinners work the same way. But to get the switch to work, you need (i used LED) toggle switches and wire them through the switch first (common/normally open), not a necessity, but it saves unplugging the battery every damn time.

4 ohm subs dont go down to 1 ohm

when you put two 4 ohm subs on a 2 ohm and the subs turn into a 2 ohm signal

and the lower the ohm the more power(resistance)

however using an amp on 1 ohm will slowly kill it becuase of the mass amount of power

the reason why most people get two 4 ohm subs is becuase they will become a 2 ohm load for the amp

if you get two 2 ohm subs on a 2 ohm amp, it becomes 1 ohm

its the largest box you can fit in without toying aorund with taking out parts and such, but the smallest box you should fit those subs with unfortunately. I managed to squeeze it in without having to take off the trunk latch with no real problems. It was fitting it in the felted plywood floor that was a bugger :/

i run everything, including all other car equipment solely off one battery (with the exception of the spinning rims and led) so i use the capacitor basically so that the battery can take the load. Having it makes sure my lights dont dim, and car starts, it just takes the weight of the power off the battery a bit.
