WTF??? 5:13 that's Brian Carroll! That's his face, hair, posture, face expressions, the same as he looked in the ClassX video's from 20 years ago! He doesn't look any different! Just a little older! That's definitely Brian Carroll out of costume. It's 100% the same dude in the ClassX videos. I'm able to confirm the positive match using forensic science methods. Brian doesn't play his modified white Buckethead baritone guitars unless he's in costume. He's well known for playing a variety of guitars. Out of costume he plays normal 25.5 inch scale guitars as well as non-LP baritones. Out of costume guitars are either black or sunburst, and never white.
I agree. Brian never really does anything as Brian, and ClassX was only a classic rock nightclub band that quite frankly sucked ass (Brian had the skill and talent, but couldn't explore it in ClassX). The Buckethead scheme was a great media allowing Brian access to explore and express his real talent, and put on one hell of a clown act at the same time. As Buckethead, he is surely MUCH better. Nah that's not Jordan. Glad you're gettin into bucket but try to branch away from Jordan, try Colma, Giant Robot and Pepper's Ghost. Anything by Bhead is amazing.

Actually, I was once forced to watch all of Alien Love Secrets, and it was one of the most boring things I've ever seen in my life. Put bluntly, Vai is the most overrated guitarist I've ever listened to, aside from Joe Satriani. Buckethead, John Petrucci, Shawn Lane, Paul Gilbert, Jason Becker, Marty Friedman, Chris Impelliterri, hell, even John 5 and Regi Wooten are better if you ask me.

No, I'm just one of the people that think that playing the same songs over and over for the last twenty years and never changing anything about it is lame. I'm not saying by any means Satriani or Vai are bad players, just that they're incredibly boring to listen to and/or watch, they don't do anything out of the box or particularly interesting. They're really only popular due to their technical skills, but their songwriting is, in my opinion, terrible.
John Carpenter always made sure his movies had memorable soundtracks no matter how well they did at the box office

I think he got a Les Paul because he needed one in order to play with GNR. This video was recorded shortly after he joined. But then I guess he's really enjoyed playing with one ever since!

Can anyone PLEASE tell me why this guy wears a bucket on his head & mask!?!? ... He is obviously an incredible talent with the guitar- no question. BUT I really think that the shtick with the KFC bucket/white mask greatly detracts from his music/talent ... i sit here lonely amongst you guitar guys (because i am a bass player) and i can appreciate any g-players style. thats where the challenge lays you know. be it laying a nice groove around vai's licks, or the dramatic tempo and timing changes of b-head. thats where the fun is. dont get me wrong, i play guitar as well and i admirer everyone from shredders to power chord players, but you fuckers need to drop this shit and just push it aside man. you each have your opinion and leave it at that...

Actually, I was once forced to watch all of Alien Love Secrets, and it was one of the most boring things I've ever seen in my life. Put bluntly, Vai is the most overrated guitarist I've ever listened to, aside from Joe Satriani. Buckethead, John Petrucci, Shawn Lane, Paul Gilbert, Jason Becker, Marty Friedman, Chris Impelliterri, hell, even John 5 and Regi Wooten are better if you ask me.

No, I'm just one of the people that think that playing the same songs over and over for the last twenty years and never changing anything about it is lame. I'm not saying by any means Satriani or Vai are bad players, just that they're incredibly boring to listen to and/or watch, they don't do anything out of the box or particularly interesting. They're really only popular due to their technical skills, but their songwriting is, in my opinion, terrible.
