my fighter was destoried in the woods by another fighter and there was no spotter nearby. wierd. what happen.

Air units aren't hidden in Fog of War. Not sure whether that's the case or not in DoR though.

Eagle is just great with air-units, and in Fog of War they can see units everywhere! So that's why I pick Eagle for every VS battle

Air units can't see through Forests or Reefs. Instead, they're seen in vision range even if on Forests or Reefs. Add to their crappy Vision and don't expect air units to be good in Fog of War.

AI cheats in Fug of War. Certainly so in this game. That's why Eagle + FoW = utter cruelty. AI air units wouldn't be so overpowered there if it weren't for its cheating.
