Anytime I see someone put "Amazing" in a description I am 1.) leery and 2.) it usually is anything but whether on youtube or on an Ebay listing. This was probably a musak track in the grocery store when i was kid. This would have never been considered by the A list singers/producers at Motown which is why the san remo strings did it.
hi @EastleighSoulboy, when you stop and listen hard to it on it's correct 33+third speed, it does actually sound as if it's 'too slow' don't you think? It could easily become another '6 by 6' instr monster! If you play about with it, it sounds awesome up loud!
@ SherwoodofRobin Did you know that the original US copy of the San Remo Strings album "Swing" has different tracks on it than the UK one too! I must put one or two on for you to hear as there's some really good ones, I like this track "Lonely One" a lot too. JOHN

I love this! I took it up to 134.4 bpms to check and it's just great. Well spotted, great foresight.

we use to cover that up many moons ago
if we had the proper decks when we had to play it on 45rpm it sounded way to fast
