  • obviously i meant "one of the best show bisness girls"

  • one of the bests

  • ....and its not cool to disrespect yourself because a man has money. Women are worth more than paper, or so I thought!

  • Damn, been looking for this for soooooo long, mad track. Thanks for posting

  • Love the beat though :)

  • HAHA this song was more funny than good, but still Queen Latifah is the best female rapper :D

  • Cranberrylover1,

You have to have your mind tuned to the late 1980's early 1990's for this song. That's when Rap wasn't all about the material things and when artist had constructive lyrics instead of disrespecting women. Its artist like Queen Latifah that prevented men from disrespecting women in songs; but when the Queen went away and Lil Kim and Foxy Brown came out, noticed that it all changed! Now artist like Trina and Shawnna are making it worst!

  • Exactly, women don't know how to respond to a woman talking about respecting herself in a song, and having real values. ITS NOT COOL TO BE A HO.

  • this is probably the most horrible thing i have seen and heard in my lifeee!

    wow, never again

  • can you say dyke?

  • What Happened? Though look how Afrikan she was now she is dying her hair Blonde WOW. Nature of a "SISTA"

  • Um....it was a wig, and it was for a role in a movie.

  • Queen Latifah gets NOTHING but respect from me! If she comes on TV, the world as I know it, stops! I'd freak out if I met her in person.

  • define selling out/

  • First of all, this sista started off being the so called African ,then all of a sudden she gave up the African clothes and the mind set,and embrace the European way of life.A true African Queen wouldn't let Hollywood pimp her for a few dollars like Latifah did.

  • So your saying you don't like the way she dresses now?

    What is an "African mindset?".

  • "I don't know you from a can of paint."

"My name ain't yo, and yo, I'm not your baby."

Classic lines, from a classic rap song, by a lady with class. All Hail The Queen!

  • actually, it's: "no, my name ain't yo, and i ain't got your baby"

my favorite song by her. the original by clarence wheeler & the enforcers "right on" is well worth checking out (sample source for latifah's track), too.

  • Reminds me of the good old days in PACHINOs a bad ass hangout spot back in the day in Lagos, Nigeria.

  • Oh shit! I remember PACHINO's!!!

  • Well, well, well, seems like we have a wannabe smarty - so how long did it take your little friend (i.e., your brain) to think of that clever post?

Let me know when you're finished packing so I can buy your ticket.

  • racsist why watch it if u dont like it? maybe cuz u dont have a life what has she ever done to you?

  • I always liked this song.

  • She looked more mature back then. She was like 17.

  • Remember my days in high school,Ikorodu high school Ikorodu Lagos to be precise.1992 i was mr. Lit of my school during our schools social lit day.

  • kim pays homage to latifah on her mixtape... just sayin...

the whole who's queen argument is stupid either way.

  • Fuck you!!!! You don't even know what you are talking about. Obviously you are a brainless fool. Queen Latifah is an inspiration and a strong women. She has taken her career to a whole knew level unlike kim. Kim is still stuck in the biggie days. Before you go crowning kim Queen look at where they are in their careers. All Hail the Queen Latifah!

  • yeah "queen" is just an analogy reflecting how every woman can expres herself and become one. those bitc*y attitude stupid naive whore* got it all wrong. you can be feminist using positive methods you know.

  • thats becase she has so mch money and shes smart enogh to keep it and save what she earned so she dont have to keep it new anymore she can relax and enjoy her life that she made

  • I would rather an uplifted QUEEN, then a queen bitch!

  • I was reading a response as it pertains to Latifah. She doesn't suck, isn't weak, nor has she fallen on. She has simply morphed. She's a WOMAN now and understands fully that longevity means being open to and welcoming CHANGE...especially in the entertainment industry.

    All hail tha Queen.

  • What the hell are you talking about she is crap now or she ain't black no more?!?! Give me a freakin' break...some people kill me with that. I think she is awesome. I love her rapping but I ALSO love her singing and acting...what a talented and versatile woman she is wanting to try something different.

  • she has a message and raps about it, and is good on top of it. how is that not legitimate..because she's pro-woman?

  • LMAO @ Flex... But this was the song... real hip hop. Every little girl/teenager needs to hear and understand the Queen. Maybe more of them will start acting like one.

  • Did ya'll catch flex from juice the boi she was arguing about the demo wit...he's the backround dancer with the dreads...damn niggas gotta start somewhere

  • Queen Latifah ... the N.J.'s finest!
