When I get the money Im getting one of those Maxpedition backpacks. I've seen some videos on them. If I'm not mistaken, the one you have looks like a maxpedition.
i have a tool kit, blankets, trashbags, 4 gallons of water, some food, jumper cables, cat litter, rock salt, flashlight, oil, coolant, jack, change of clothes, first aid kit is in the glove box, this bright orange cloth that fits over the back of my car, in case i get stuck, its plastic too, maybe its a tarp? good shoes for walking, fishing pole and stuff for fishing. crowbar,
Plus on i carry my purse at all time ( its own survival kit) and my key chain.
@tara37830 oh i forgot a de icer and some old cds that i have used to get ice off my windshield . also inside the car its self i keep some form of weapon in there, right now its broken down so no knife to bat ... and i keep a few dollars for gas just in case. and in the summer i keep an extra pack of water in bottles and a swimsuit, and in winter i keep a folding shovel its not fun getting stuck in the snow..
You might want to look in to a lock-box or travel luggage mesh to put around everything. Thieves are hitting cars all over and accessing the trunk for goodies. I live in a very upscale area and had my GHB taken along with my favorite Asolo boots, those losses alone amounted to about a thousand dollars.
Dude, A for effort, but it looks like you are living out of your trunk. I think you have a plan if you dont leave ASAP or do a total ivintory at any time. Good luck.
Nice setup - one other thing you might want to throw in the back is a gallon jug or two of water. I see that you have the filtration system (great idea) but depending on where you are, there might not even be any water to filtrate. Great video! Keep em' coming buddy.
i plan on keepin similar gear in my truck, i want to get a tool box to keep everything in, i want to have a pack packed like if i was going to go backpacking with clothes, stove, food, mess kit, knife, sleeping bag, so i can grab and go if i have to and then outside of tht keep some water, more food, blankets, tools, and stuff like tht
unfortunately if u r cursed by having to live in shitty texas you cant keep anything in the car as it will melt
