I have a prolux but not the plus model I got it off ebay for 39.00 was the buy it now price do not remember shipping I've had to get a motor housing piece which was about 60.00 I'd estimated almost 150 to 170.00 in this vacuum

trust me I know that annoying squeak, its the wheels I have greased too many of them, carpet doesn't squeak

the squeaking noise is the two small rollers behind the brush roll, take a screw driver and pry them out, apply silicone dielectric grease on the metal axle of the roller and squeak is gone, the two larger wheels in the back should have a dab put on them also., but that will require removing the top cover and two screws that hold the wheels and upper body onto the lower power unit.

Always wanted one of those but is it really that noisy? It sounds like the brushroll or something is squealing too possibly?
