differences are obvious in multiplayer: huge clipping even on 2meters away objects, bad textures, killing aliasing on consoles and only 30fps... i bought a hd 6870 and will never go back to consoles.

Whats the point of these "vs" video's? PC's always win but the consoles have the advantage of always working games. You don't have to check your specs to play a game.

I enjoy both my PC and Xbox.

@EliteGhost001 If you spend £1,000 on a PC it will be good for about 10 years (if you choose everything correctly) and keep in mind you have to change consoles every 5 years to play the latest games and games on consoles cost more so really there is a massive difference.

well 5 years is pushing it and unless its a console port, the game will run pretty badly. But hardware 5 years before the release of the 360 had no chance of running the games at the same quality as the console. That changed fast though.

Fact is that PC hardware will be outdated in 3-4 years. in todays market it'll take 1 years. take my 1366 for example. now replaced by 2011.

But yeah, while PC hardware is getting outdated faster it's not getting outdated so fast that you need to switch from a 1366 to a 2011 yet :/

I'm not saying its necessary. You completely jump to wrong conclusions. My point is that the hardware evolves very quickly, getting faster and smaller. This means the software will evolve with it (unless they keep making crap for the consoles as they do now).

If the software evolves with it, it'll soon be too much for an "older" system.

You can't tell the difference through videos. At least not the full difference. I've not played BF3 on PS3, but I've played a good number of games on PS3 and the PC, on the same screen just by switching channels and having them on at the same time. You can see a pretty big difference first hand.

A 300$ PC of recent days moving battlefield 3 at high settings, 720p, dx9, 30fps-45fps. 300$ PC is more powerful than consoles. I know that you can go further on PC like veryhigh(dx10) or ultra(dx11) and 1080p or 1600p, but for the console standard (that is, 720p, dx9, medium-high graphics, 25fps-30fps) that 300$PC is better.

@nejisdeath Nop. Both xbox360 and ps3 version look ugly compared to PC. You have to play it yourself to see the diference on a HDTV. I have it for PC and my cousin for ps3 and there is a BIG difference. Even my grandfather noticed the difference and wanted to be back on war and he usually keeps sitted next to me to watch my PC.

@kropotkin888 Those high textures looks like ''medium'' quality. On PC you have low, medium, high, very high and ultra. It's important to try both versions of battlefield 3 on a HDTV since the youtube quality is shit. First, ps3 is at 1280x702, so the only fact that PC is at 1920x1080 or more is better in graphics. Dice itself says that battlefield 3 on consoles is at the lowest settings equivalent of the PC version.

jajajajjaja, si tio. Weno decir lo primero que es un juegazo. Segundo No nos mintamos En PC se ve muchisimo mejor. La comparacion esta hecha utilizando los mismos estandares que PS3 y ya veis que el framerate es muy superior en Pc ademas el online de PC es una pasada si consigues jugar con 64 jugadores. Por otra parte decir que Ea y Dice han hecho un buen trabajo en consolas. Sobretodo en PS3. Y el online es el mismo y con 24 usuarios se sigue jugando genial.
