I have seen. It's sad to hear those sounds, but they aren't "unnatural" in any way. Hysterizing children make similiar ones.
Some mentally ill people make so. I'm sometimes listening to metal music, in some "death" and "satanic" clips you will hear more sinister voices (of the singers).
It could even be funny if it weren't so tragic. If it didn't lead to malnutrition, dehydration and death (as their consequence). And if it wasn't mental illness (it probably was).

distorting words so that they sound "Egyptian", "Aramaic" or "Hittite" is one of the possible explanations. Try Pig Latin and some more sophisticated distortions of your regular mother tongue. Another one is that some folks REALLY DO learn rare languages, including the ancient and extinct ones. And if they become mentally ill, they have a "background" to base on.

exactly; even if the psychiatric medicines in the 1970s weren't perfect (nor they are now), they were incomparably better than medieval pseudo-therapy. Exorcisms used on her weren't ANY better than dianetics used on Lisa McPherson. In both cases, those women died of negligence - malnutrition and dehydration.
