  • Igoudala floating from behind the backboard will still remain 2nd all time....only Jordan was better.

  • #4 should've been #1.

  • top 10 dunks "IN THE DUNK CONTEST IN MY OPINION" in history of nba...need to add that part in between :) good vid though

  • VINCE IS NUMBER 1 AND YOU KNOW IT BABY!!!

  • LOL 5 dunk Rudy Fernandez did the same at the dunk contest and he lost in first round. Maybe he had to paint his skin black or something like that

  • to me jason richardson's dunks were so underated some of his dunks were better then vince carter's not saying he is a better all around dunker then vc but he had some dunks were ju ill and sick

  • number six is basically number four without the reverse 360 so why is it even on this list. I can almost do that and I'm a 6'2" white kid with moderate athleticism.

  • jordan hangtime unreal!

  • computer froze at :41 THATS BOSS

  • 1:13 xD

  • katray

  • #4 was way better than any of those

  • AND1 is like 5 times bether than NBA

  • @TheJanko998 If you see this was 2007 AND1 aka mr 720 didn't do his 720 dunk at that time!!

  • anyone can tell me the title of the song at the end of the vid?? thx

  • #4 was A M A Z I N G !

  • JR Rider(not shown) J rich are 2&3 between the legs dunks . But Vince is the ALL TIME BEST dunker ever period. Where was Brent Barry who clearly took off from behind the FT line when Dr and MJ stepped inside the line?

  • Vince Carter + Michael Jordan = Too Awesome To Exist

  • nothing againts TFB

  • in the history of nba all star oh the hell why even bother

  • These are top 10 dunks in dunk contests. If I had a top dunk ever it'd be Dominique in the 88 ECSF Gm 7 missing from the top of the key off the back of the rim and then skying over a couple C's for a putback.

  • There's three dunks in NBA Street that Vince showed us for the first time, the honey dip, the dunkalicious, and the through wit it. Top that.

  • no no no mj is best out of everyone

  • No ... 1 should be 1 .

  • number 3 is the best hands down!!!!

  • VC is the best dunker of all time to date. As many great dunkers as there have been over the years, it's not even close. Before his knee problems that dude used to do the illest smashes during games in half court/10 man sets! He jumped over a 7fters dome and smashed for goodness sake! What he did to Big ZO was just dead wrong... and that was while his hops were spiraling down!

  • @OSKOERGO shaq's face says it all...

  • MJ just glides through the air like nobody else. VC is fantastic, but he and Domonique have very similar styles. I've just never seen anybody hang and contort their body like mike.

  • @gpmartinez22 Jerk off to Jordan all you want but he never did a reverse 360 windmill or a bounce pass through the legs or the honey dip.

  • @bigmoney749

MJ did a double pump from the free throw line. Jerk off to that kid.

  • #2 was the most memorable dunk for me, been watching dunks since the 80's till today.

  • damn..did you see shas face!!!

  • j rich's reverse between the legs is the most difficult dunk of all time.how's that not in here.and also #3 should be #2.jordan's dunk in #2 is overrated and #10 at best.

  • @1:11 Shaq represented the faces of all the people that saw that dunk

  • FUCK OFF .... the first should be to Nate Robinson jumps when dwight howard ... BALLS!

  • number 2 is fuckin bullshit

jordans amazing but that windmill is fuckin weak compared to what carter does

  • 1 through 10 should be all Vince Carter.

WTF is #3? That thing doesn't even belong in the top 100.

  • @bim2x4 lets see you do it

  • @bim2x4 If you've ever dunked you would know why that's so hard. But I agree there could have been something else on the list. But that's true for all since there's so many to pick from.

  • #1 was all that greater than J.Rich's or even the VC Reverse 360...

  • #4 is number 1

  • 1:13.

Shaq describes the dunks Carter does.

  • watch my vid "dunking on a 9 foot rim antoniotomac"

  • @KixzKilla just saying that they should appreciate the dunk more than the props if they appreciate the props more than the dunk do not call it "dunk contest" call it "prop contest" ^^

  • Agreed: #4 is number one.

I appreciate this countdown however, because it does not privilege mythologized dunks of the past over great dunks of more recent history. Well done.

  • Why is number 7 better than 10. If 10 its a copy of 7.

  • WHERES TOM CHAMBERS

  • blake griffin is the best

  • blake griffin is the best

  • @mistrz123456789ful ur either an idiot or 12 years old

  • #3 is and shall always be number 3!

  • 2 is ass any decent dunker can do that

  • i thought #3 was a video game for a second

  • I think robinson dunk over dwight howard is one of best )

  • He said it's over a bunch of times to let u know the video is over and to not keep watching it

  • thats why he said its over, because that will be number 1 forever so at the end of every video youll know its over

  • number 3 the best dunk i've ever seen off the glass jump and in the caught the ball trought the legs and then dunk!!!! the most difficult dunk!!!!

  • @jimaras2tse and in the air***

  • 1:09 With his first STUFF!... OHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! Best crowd reaction ever!

  • i cant belive we had vince carter on the raptors the best dunker wish he stayed

  • I still can't believe the '04 slam dunk when the judges gave Fred Jones a 50 right after J-Rich did his off the backboard, between the legs dunk. In my opinion, there have only been a few people (VC being one of course) who can match J-Rich in a dunk contest. The judges always seem to ruin the slam dunk with their inconsistent scoring. '06 when A.I. was robbed of victory, '07 where Dwight could've easily won if only he was given the chance, and this year Blake Griffins dunks were average.

  • a.i with an assist should be the most amazing lol

  • JR smiths behind the back dunk is very underrated

  • #2 way too high

  • @naveet2 Spudd Webb is black!

  • Spudd Webbs is only 5'7!!!!!

  • MJ's 720 (5xx)dunk blows these dunks out of the water

  • how can these be THE BEST? they are all all star slam dunks. no pressure no defenders no fatigue thats why they easily did the highlights. they look good but for them it is easy.

  • thank god i didn't have to see that overrated superman dunk

  • TOP 3 DUNKERS IN NBA HISTORY:

    1. VINCE CARTER

    2. JASON RICHARDSON

    3. MICHAEL JORDAN

I'm not sure about Richardson and Michael Jordan 2 and 3 position, but the dunk between the legs off the backboard was sick. but Vince Carter is the best dunker, and his dunks on games are the best. Do you agree?

  • michael jordan shouldnt even b in this

  • dunk contest sucks nowadays they only rely on props

  • @born2Bblck they dont nd yuh wuld have to watch it to kno they "only rely on props" lik yuh still gotta watch it so if yuh dont lik it then dont watch it

  • number 3 is better than 1 and 2 ¬¬

  • wait, what makes number 1 better than 3? honestly 3 was better

  • isn't the guy at 2:15 the guy off the wire tv show?

  • dam...i was exepcting MJ to be all 10 of them...

  • number 2?? and number 3 was better than number 1

  • numer 2??

  • Sorry, no dunk contest dunk should ever belong in the top 10 dunks over dunks that were done against a defense.

  • @Statalyzer then search up top 10 facial dunks o-o

  • michales #2 dunk is by far the best. i laugh every time i see it. hes litteraly flying

  • 4# is and shall always be number 1!

  • great line up

  • How is carters 360 windmill not number 1....?

  • u no what i dont understand richardsons dunk was and alley oop threw the legs dunk but carters dunk was just threw the legs and carter was higher up?

  • # 4 was the greatest dunk in nba history

shaqs face is priceless at 1:13

  • Vince Carter is crazy ... mann ;p

  • @mastersofheel909 Can't help it. That was the first free throw line dunk, so it set the judges and audiences on rampage, so a 50 is absolute. But i agree that Ibaka should've gotten more credit (behind the line).

  • I think that #10 isn't tht good. He jumped past free throw line and got 50. Serge Ibaka jumped 2 feet before the free throw line and got a 45.

  • @mastersofheel909 i know right. stupid judges these days

  • @mastersofheel909 2 feet before?

    he was just behind it.

  • Comment removed

  • @mastersofheel909 that was the first time

  • @CciCcOo true but serge should have got more points for what he did. No offense but Blake shouldn't have won. Jumping over a car is great, but there were better dunks

  • @mastersofheel909 blake won only because of kenny :D

  • @mastersofheel909 He was the first one to jump from the free throw line.

  • @mastersofheel909 it wasnt in the era of rediculous dunks like we have today. Julius was literally the first to do that. kinda like the first to do an alley, we don't see it as that BIG of a deal, but it must have been pretty awesome at the time. #10 started the era of MJ's dunks.

  • @mastersofheel909 Shut the fuck up. Lets think here. 1) Dr. J's looked a hell of a lot better. 2) Serge Ibaka only got a 45 because it had been done before many times. Like in the video you're watching!

  • @mastersofheel909 but think about it. shorter people have to propel themselves farther than taller people. but ibaka's dunk was a good dunk.

  • @mastersofheel909 that was the first time anyone had ever done that because it was the first dunk contest, a bunch of people have done it since.

  • @mastersofheel909 yeh but he is the first guy to ever dunk from the freethrow line

  • @mastersofheel909 2 feet before the free throw line? Watch it again, his toe was touching the line.

  • @mastersofheel909 Well you're right, but that was the first time someone ever did a dunk like that

  • @mastersofheel909 Yes but the Dr. was by far one of the all time best dunkers in the N.B.A.

  • @mastersofheel909 he was the first one to do that bro

  • @BloodyAlbozz666 I know. The point I am trying to make is that it seems that the expectation from the 70's or even the 80's went way up

  • @mastersofheel909 It was impressive because he was the first one to do/attempt it.

  • @mastersofheel909 Actually Ibaka's toe was right above the line. Ibaka does not have a 2 foot foot lmao

  • @mastersofheel909 im not sure it was 2 feet

  • @mastersofheel909 Well Dr. J did it first... So yeah

  • @mastersofheel909 back then it wasnt very common for people to jump that far now a days everyone can do it lol

  • @mastersofheel909 Ibaka is 6'10 with a wing span of probably a 7 footer... it's not that magical or visually appealing cuz it looks like me dunking on a 8 1/2 foot goal...

  • @mastersofheel909 He jumped on the free throw line and Serge jumped fully behind it but not two feet. The reason Julius got a fifty is because it was 1976 and it was the first dunk contest and he was the second person ever to do it on camera.

  • Vince had all the dunks. The best dunker.

  • how do they do it, is the gravity in america less then in europe??? xD

they always fly :p, like MJ at nr. 2

  • I wish charles and kenny and magic could do the commentaries for the dominique/jordan battles because that would just make it so much better for me

  • mjs "leaner" is the most overrated dunk in history!!!

  • Also I find it hard to presume this approach but I went about dunking couple of weeks ago! I just simply put in place the technique from (50-inch-vertical(dot)com) and in simply just 5 weeks, I soar fourteen ins more! Dunking is indeed so enjoyable!

top 10 dunks in history of nba vhirex

  • vince carter on number one??? WTF!?!

  • 1:09 BUUUM WHAT A FUCK

  • This video has made a point. Black people can't jump!

  • i love jordan but how tf is his windbill better then richardsons

  • VINCE CARTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER

  • I'm glas VC came to the suns!

  • Iguodala's dunk was the best in my opinion

  • @ashwithdacash Nate Robinson tried Andre's dunk, but he kept hitting is head on the backboard so he stopped.

  • KISS YOUR HAND 10 TIMES

    SAY YOUR CRUSH 15

    POST THIS TO 2 VIDEOS

    LOOK AT YOUR HAND

  • anyone know what the name of background music is?

  • I think 3 should be 1 !

  • these are the best dunks in the dunk contest...

  • 4. from VC the best ;)

  • in my opinion #3 should of been #1

  • the first dunk was from the ABA league.. not the NBA

  • VC FTW

  • I think J-Rich's dunk should be #1

  • julies evering travled lol.

  • If it wasn't MJ, #2 wouldn't even be in this video.

  • nate robinson dunking over spud webb or dwight howard should be in this

  • I taught Vince how to do that.

  • I have to say, that Vince Carter's slam dunk routine was the best I've ever seen

  • VC has best dunks

  • The Top 8 of 10 NBA Slam Dunk Contest Dunkers must be(in no order): MJ, Dom, Richardson, Nate, Dwight, Vince, Dr J, Spud then it gets difficult - Green, Thompson, Ig, etc

  • i think going between the legs is just gay anymore..switch it up , last years dunk contest was horrible ...in fact anytime Nate Robinson wins it sux..hes not that good at all

  • @XuShoe are you blind??? Mj is the best dunker of our time besides LeBron. you must be like 13 or something ..either that or your a knicks fan and hate mj

  • I love Shaq's reactions x)

  • number 2 should b number 1. jason richardson did between the legs better than vince

  • Richardson's number 1?? wtf ?!?!?

  • Richardson's should be number one, then VC's against the grain slam. MJ should be in the top 10 as well but I think he got higher then he should have just because......well it's MJ.

  • 1 might have been harder to do, but i think # 4 looks cooler

  • great video, nice dunks!!!!! and andre igoudala got robbed, he shoulda won the dunk contest, it took nate robinson like 50 tries for his final dunk!!!!!

  • Dr.j 's free throw line dunk should be higher on the list

  • @903baller15 nope

  • everybody has opinions on best nba dunks like mine for example, i dont really think number 2 on the list isnt really a good dunk, just because it's by jordan doesn't make any difference. if it was by somebody else i wouldn't of have been cool.

  • man no disrespect to nate robinson but iguodala should have won that dunk contest in 2006 against nate robinson iguodala was robbed

  • vhirex you play ball? you need to take a look at this - "50inch vertical [dot] com" - It's a unique training workout that will def help you start dunking without even going to the workout room , it's optional!

top 10 dunks in history of nba grayhmvaevaqpqahbps sznwkdlssmpq #vhirex

  • i disagree. i think they should have switched the VC dunks. that reverse windmill is my favorite dunk ever. the jordan leaner is a close 2nd.

  • @DaBears8690 ...you are sooo right ...those two are the best

  • Shame VC did nothing for the magic when they needed him the most.

Best dunker of all time no doubt, but big time choker.

  • @Raw000 false, MJ and Nique were better in game dunkers, also Erving, David Thompson

  • @halokid26 complete and utter rubbish dude.Mj and Nique were great dunkers, and im am the greatest MJ fan as well as Nique, but VC craps on them in terms of in game dunks even, period.Have not seen a better dunker, ever, than VC.The guy cannot win anything, but he IS time NBA greatest dunker.

  • Yes right!!! But this is top 10 dunks not from NBA history but from NBA Slam Dunk contest history.

PS: VC dunk number one can Tomas satoransky from Czech republic, he won with it SDC in CZ.

  • what is the name of this song?

  • I love you

    Vince Carter !!!

  • 1.04

    That's TALENT.
