  • last comments are 3 years ago, any news since then ?

  • So what is the latest on this?

  • FYI Podcasting you own show is way more profitable to you. With a budget of 150k per episode and the right marketing you can see a return of up to 5 million annually. Thats Net. Don't believe me? Cool. Go to TechCrunch and look at their blog on those who have done this and more. Perez Hilton, who only blogs makes more than 5 mill annually and he is in NO way as funny or offers better content that you.

  • are those apples in your tree?

  • it would be ****ing AWESOME to see a show like this on network TV!

put a word in for me in the miracles department...i want to see this show on sci-fi!

  • that fox dog was awesome

  • Where's episode 7? It's been almost two YEARS since episode 6! I almost completely forgot about God, Inc. it's been so long.

  • I think this show would be very hard to pitch to a big network. They know that they have an overwhelming number of highly impressionable miss-informed christians as viewers, and wouldn't want to offend any of them, and take the chance of loosing a few viewers. They fail to see the gains of getting viewers like us.

  • The show was picked up by the Sci Fi channel and is in development right now!

  • MORE!!!!

Please, we've been waiiiiting SOOO patiently!

or post another update to let us know what's what :) THANK YOU!!

  • I'm ready to see some more!!!!!

  • rofl

  • I really enjoy this!! Well done!

  • This show rocks ! Its too bad the half wits on tv cant see that. You saw what they did to Dead Like me!

  • Cable maybe - network, forget about it! I want more God, inc.!!

  • we want more god inc! cheers from chile

  • Jesus said, "Love God with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself.."

  • each has their own definition of love

  • Did you get inspiration from Hungryman Entertainment Production's "Good God" that is one of the Comedy Central webshows. It also has an office environment with God & a Heavenly staff.

  • That show is probably a copy off of this one Entertainment executives will do amy thing for ratings/profit including stealing ideas

  • probably not, good god was released Oct 2006, god inc. was released in 2007. It's possible they were concurrently and independantly conceived.

  • Thats true i was writing a script for a movie (just for fun) that was very similar to NBC's "the office" about a company that makes and ships crayons i was going to call it the office but 3 months into the writing, the office debuted on TV and i changed the title, then later just stopped writing the script.

  • Yeah God Inc is a really funny, clever show, i hope to see it on TV :)

  • try pitching it to the uk...the bbc might actually be interested...they often let a lot of new directors and unconventional material have a go, as it were...

  • Unfortunately, I can't imagine a situation in which the U.S. networks allow God Inc. to be aired on TV.

Why don't you try it in the U.K.? They are much less uptight about religion.

  • God inc, would be a great show to watch. True entertainment.

  • lmao

    love the dog lol

i certainly would watch god inc.

    record it on my DVR,

and show it to everyone :] lol

  • good to know

  • The US has become a third-world nation in respect to religious fanaticism/delusion. Our powerful Christian Taliban would never permit public viewing of anything of humor in association with their very serious god.

  • Until the US rejects this superstitious nonsense, you would surely be able to get a TV broadcast deal with nearly any of the other industrialized nations with a majority of the population that know relgion is a nonsensical fool's game and are today socially and technologically leaving the US in their dust while we proceed on our trip back to the bronze age.

  • ...perhaps the question does not concern the faith, but rather the faithful...

  • Ok, the Fox dog picking up his sign and walking away literally made me laugh outloud...

  • God, Inc. as a TV show???? OMG, i LOVE the idea!!!! Put it on right after 24 lol

  • Congrats God, Inc. Well Deserved pickup!!!

  • I just ran accross this today and watched all 6 episodes. I think that its great and a wonderful commentary. Very creative. I hope that you can make it to TV

  • Dude, god inc. would be one of the greatest shows on TV. Good luck!

  • U rule I loves me some God inc.

  • Wow with all of that meeting how do you...um, not be meeting shows with each other? Or a good comment.

  • That's so awesome! God, Inc. is by far my favorite series on Youtube, every episode is just top notch. Can't wait to see Erf! either! Hope everything goes well and we'll see a trailer soon! Best of luck and keep up the GREAT work :)

  • Try this... "It's 'The Office' meets 'Office Space', set in Heaven... kind of like 'Murder She Wrote'" look at their dumbfounded faces (beat) "What? Don't you GET it?" As bizarre as that sounds, it works, because EVERYONE GETS 'MURDER SHE WROTE'!!!!

  • Great update, best of luck with the TV pitch!

  • This is really great i hope this can be soon on tv (with longer episodes) u r doing a great job, i hope Tv channels can realiza that u got sumthing big going on.

  • well, it's July. Where's "Earth"?

  • Hey spilledmilkfilms. "ERF!" is on a slight delay because of the possibility of getting some producers on board, which would be good in some ways but also makes things go slower. As well as the usual crap that delays things. I'm editing a teaser trailer now and should have it up shortly.

  • sweet. God inc. was one of my favs.

  • God, Inc is my favorite! I do hope to see it on my television. =]

  • "God, Inc" is AWESOME and I hope you get picked up for network or cable television. How did you start out?

  • This would be great for tv, but I'm sure a lot of religious radicals would shit enough bricks to build a house.

  • OMG! Could you imagine the uproar in teh religous community if this were on tv? I'm a Christian and all but hell everyone can take a laugh at their own religion once in a while. God HImself obviously has a sense of humor or he probably woulnt've made ugly people lol.

  • Ah, they can take it. With all the crap they make others who aren't exactly like them go through? If they can't take a joke, that's their problem. All the popularity here just shows- this is what most people WANT! ;-)

  • I was so happy to see that Comedy Central picked you up on Motherlode... And of course, by picked up I mean completely had your underlying premise blatantly ripped off and titled GOOD GOD. You are much funnier by the way.

  • Ha - thank you. Yes, I know about "Good God", although I've never seen it. It was a failed pilot that CC put on the web, and I found out about it shortly after I uploaded the first episode of "God, Inc". "God, Inc" has actually been on Motherlode as well!

  • Oh btw, I like this stuff I subscribed. Can you invite me as a friend? You seem really cool. Keep up the good work m'man. I know you'll make it big!

  • It seems to me like Comedy Network (in Canada) or Fox would pick up. Maybe try pitching it in Canada. We have a lot of viewers up here, you'd start a fan base, and then USA can get syndication?

    Good luck!

  • oh man, i'd love to sit at hoe and watch god, inc, ON MY TV.

  • I love God, Inc.

Thank you. You are really funny.

  • i love this series

and in this video i love the dog

    hahaha

  • i love this series. its nice to see smart videos with some kind of message. i would love to see god inc as an actual television show. right as i was going to mention dead like me i saw it on someones previous comment. this series made me immediately think of dead like me.

  • I can understand the Networks chickening out, but it seems like a natural for Cable - good luck! Kathy

  • I'm surprised comdey central didn't jump at the chance to take the show, seems like their kind of humor

  • >I'm surprised comdey central didn't jump at the chance to take the show, seems like their kind of humor

    Monkeys dont jump : P

  • I cant believe that the networks you have pitched to have no vision or sense of humor to snap up your God Inc "show". I can only think that they maybe scared of any show that refernces "God".

God Inc, seriously is the best thing ive seen on or off TV in many years.

  • what's really ironic is that I saw this show before ever seeing dead like me. Now I've watched and enjoyed every last episode of that show. hope you make it and replace that awesome (and now canacelled) program!

  • Actually, even though people frequently compared them, I'd never seen it myself. I just watched the pilot for the first time yesterday - what a terrific show!

  • I thought Francis was a girl. Wow.

  • I would LOVE being able to watch all of that on a network... I would think CC would be the first to jump at this idea... I can't wait.

  • i love that fx guy he is so cute >< anyway i hope u guys actually do get god inc. up on a network that would be totally awesome thanks for the upload!

  • Definitely try contacting the BBC and Channel 4 in the UK. You'll be able to do so much more with the script because we Brits don't really believe in anything any more!

  • Yeah - That's right, sell out on us why don't you! I mean what will you need us for when your hollywood mansion sits on network exec's row. When you become one of them, just remember that you were once one of us. When the show is syndicated world-wide I am particually looking forward to Budda Inc (The tale of a fat man who lies about in front of daytime TV) and Mohammed Inc (an inflammatry cartoon series where, Mohammed who is down to his last 1000 virgins seeks a new public relations drive).

  • Highly enjoyable. I particularly liked the diminution of miracles and the increase in natural disasters. Good script - characterisation, good acting and good photography. Have you thought of asking BBC in England? Best wishes, David

  • Hope you succeed, God Inc would make a great T.V series.

I am lookig forward to your new web series too.

  • Good luck, let me know if there's anyone I can lobby oor send emails to!

  • You know what, if they can pick up a comedy series based on the Geico Caveman, I think that they cazn grab this one. WHOO! Keep going, dude!

  • I agree, a TV series would be so awesome! I think a whole lot of people would watch it.

  • PLEASE GO NETWORK

  • keep it up dude... be you have to remember the mainstream media might not be ready for this sort of comedy. however, i find it very funny. i can't wait to see the next opposide.

  • YAYAY It better get picked up!

  • I <3 this series!! Keep it up and don't give up!

  • I absolutely love your show, much better than the office and more original. Please keep up the pitches to the networks! With all the crap out there, something good like this HAS to make it.

Awesome to see that you're from my area.

  • Who can we lobby? I'd love to see God Inc go network. Don't degrade God Inc by comparing it to The Office -- you're much better! BTW, good training of the dog! He stole the scene.

  • Awesome, I hope you make it on to the networks. I just love your series. If it can't make it on broadcast tv keep making the series for this channel. I enjoy your series.

  • hope you can get it on TV and also put it on youtube. can't wait for Earth, oh btw, can u put Earth on youtube under ur current username? that be great, thx

  • Hi - all my new projects will be under this same username, including the new series (which is called "Erf!") and various shorts. Thanks!

  • That would be awesome as a show!!!! Also, that dog at the end is really cute- you should give it a part!!! Ha.

  • You guys rock! I look forward to lots more God, Inc, whether on the idiot box or the Web...

  • I hope you get a TV series, tha'd be all-some.

all-some: adj; a term referring to the awesome ness of all or some of the things one will do or experience. conviently rhymes with awesome

  • I would tune in religiously, to God Inc.

You gotta save some of these comments for the networks.

  • Good luck with gettin' on TV.

Too bad, there's no Comedy Central in my country, so i'll have no chance to watch ur TV-show, unless u put it on youtube again =)

  • Can't wait to see your show Earth. And I hope your show will get on Comedy Central. Good Luck and God speed

  • Good luck with God Inc. Your show is fantastic, and speaking as someone who works in television, I think it's got balls, man! BTW - The 'Fox' dog is great too!

  • I think God Inc. is a great show, good luck!

  • That seems like crap. ut appears that Francis Stokes is just another flash in the pan one idea man. R.I.P. God inc.

  • Ha! You may be right. ut remains to be seen. But don't mourn the death of "God, Inc" - it's definitely still alive and well...

  • I hope to God your show gets picked up by a network... I love God Inc.

"Oh shut up, you get all your clients from Myspace."

  • Good luck with pitching that! Hope to see you on the tube soon. Great idea! You have support in alabama!

  • lol fox walked away^^ love god inc...cant wait for for earth to come out...and i hope you make more god inc^^

  • Watch god speak at stavros333 and learn

  • LAWL @ the dog!

  • if it takes off in America bring it to Australia and Europe

  • bets of success on your pitching and new series..

  • I wish you all the best! It would be great to replace all the crap thats on TV at the moment with some quality viewing. Good luck.. and cant wait to see your new show too. Any hints as to whats it about???

  • not yet. still writing it. But I'll post a trailer in a few weeks. And I have two shorts, one I just filmed and one I made almost ten years ago, that I'm posting in the meantime.

  • You rock! Looking forward to upcoming episodes :)

  • Thx for the update -- can't wait for more of your work!

  • U guys are the best!!!

Keep on doing this - it's hillarious

    Stay Classy ;)

  • All the best!

  • I would totally watch God, Inc on TV.... one of the most amazing youtube series i have ever seen

best wishes and cant wait to see more!

  • what a coincidence...honestly, I clicked your channel to unsubscribe heh, but then I saw your video and now want to wish you good luck. cute dog btw. did Fox really leave or was that not to be seen as a literal message?

  • Heh - no, not literal. That was a little adlibbing by Soda.

  • I really hope God Inc gets picked up. I don't do sitcoms that much but I would tune in every week for God Inc.

  • thanks for the update, i was beginning to think that god was really going to rest on the 7th... but im glad to hear more is in the making. your show is hilarious and youre a great writer.

  • That's great! Good luck with the TV stuff ^^

  • Good luck. I hope you have some success with the networks. And if they haven't got the sense to take you on, please come back to youtube. You are ALWAYS welcome here.

  • Mister Diety is amazing to :)

Good luck, I miss the God inc. eps. :(

  • Awesome update, and good luck with the elevator speech. Nice of them to give you water though, um, right? *sigh*

  • Wishing you the best of luck.

  • Best of luck, this series is great--probably the best on youtube. I hope you get picked up! PS. That dog is SO CUTE, s/he should end up being God lol

  • Good luck. If you need people to e-mail the networks, let us all know. I love this series!!!!

  • Good luck, hope it works. It would make a Great series.

  • Congrats, Francis! I hope it makes it to TV!!

  • I LOVE GOD, INC!!!! POST MORE!!!!

  • thanks for the update!

it would be amazing if God, INC got picked up by a TV network. i don't see how anyone/any network could dislike this series.

    keep up the great work!

  • I love God, Inc!!!

  • That dog is adorable. May I have her/him?

  • If you need some one to bring as a witness to God inc.s greatness to show to Networks Im your man

  • nice man :) cool

  • The dog is a comic genius.

Hey, why isn't there an annual YouTube awards ceremony?

If they gave out "Tubies", the dog gets my vote as best TV studio chowderhead.

  • Too bad you couldn't get on that "On the Lot" television show.

  • more content! COOL!

  • Please come to australia and get it made with SBS, they love original comedy, look at the series Wilfred which was a one-off TropFest festival short that became a 6 ep run.

  • Please please please please please please please please please please please please please don't go anywhere near Fox. It'll be canceled before it's ever made and then imprisoned in red tape and other bumfuckery.

  • lol, i agree with dat

  • Can't wait to see it on TV.

  • so you won't be producing any more on youtube?..? i love the episodes! XD great job lol, keep us updated if any companies pick it up! ^^

  • The dog is really cute!

  • cheers and heres to miracles! you have created the funniest thing that i have ever enjoyed on the net (and the tube as well). keep the creativity flowing.

  • I'd be more worried about Hollywood (Networks) touching God, Inc. They'll hurt it more than help it IMO. A shame it cant stay within the realm of the Internet. There would be less creative control loss that way. Less compromising of integrity. But its your decision. I understand money and resources have to come from somewhere. Good luck

  • I think I've met some of those Network people at a dive bar on Fairfax.

  • good luck with that, it would be a great show. And the video angles aren't as obnoxious as the office.

  • i love god inc. heh heh stokes is awesome

  • To be true I can only imagine God Inc made at BBC...I don't know which american station will face this kind of humour...

Anyway I hope it will be soon on TV. Thank you for great idea and fantastic episodes - I'll be here waiting for good news!

    Good luck!

  • Thank you for the update and I wish you good luck on getting God, Inc sold. I know that the show/idea being awesome isn't all that it takes to get it picked up, but it can't hurt. I'll be sending happy vibes for this to be a success for you. Thank you for the entertainment so far!

  • Good luck with this! Have you been hindered by the networks being worried about religious groups being upset?

  • Surprisingly, that hasn't really come up. Although we've been very aware of that aspect of it - as someone in the comments suggested, we've been emphasizing the number of people of faith who have really embraced the show...

  • Cool! I hope you get picked up. The way network TV's ratings have been dropping, they need to become a little more edgy and willing to take chances. Let me just throw out that I'm an atheist and I hope the show doesn't devolve into a lame "Highway to Heaven" type show. Good Luck!!!!!

  • thanks so much for this update. i really hope you get picked up. the show is amazing. good luck with everything. i'm totally rooting for you.

  • Your doing a fantastic job.. keep going :D

  • well done on everything and good luck. It's nice to see REAL professional quality videos nowadays.

  • Hey, thanks for the update, I was going into withdrawals. I swear, this IS funnier than Dead Like Me - sorry to keep making that comparision, but "Dead" is so well written and acted, I can't help myself. - Good luck pitching and go "bowl" them over!!!!

  • Funny thing is that I've never actually seen "Dead Like Me". I just found the first season on DVD used for $10, so I'll be watching it very soon...

  • Way to go and good luck

  • aww i love the dog!

  • Good to hear.

  • Aww Fox didn't seem too keen!! Well, I can't wait for the next episode of God Inc or the new series [ERF, did you say?]

    Good luck witht the pitching!!

  • So will there be more god inc?

  • I'm so escited for your new show; what you have done so far is brilliant and I'm sure this will be the same! Not to put pressure on anyone (that's not meant sarcastically). And good luck pitching it to TV stations! They are missing a big chance if they don't take your ideas.

Again, I love what you have done sofar!!

  • The dog was adorable...will he be on the show?

  • Maybe I could slip him in somewhere...

  • Thanks so much for the update!

Good luck getting it onto TV, let's hope they let you use the same cast. I'll totally watch it, buy the DVDs, etc.

  • Seriously though, I hope you get on the air.

  • Thanks for the update. We were wondering what had happened. Looking forward to more great stuff.

  • Did you say Earth or Herb?

Anyway it is great to get an update, ty, now i can share the info with all my myspace friends that are your fans.

  • It's called "ERF!"

  • i see, and i'm looking forward to it.

  • and for the record, the title has an exclamation point in it. I wasn't shouting.

  • Hi Francis, thanks for this. I managed to be one of the first 5,000 to see episode 1, which doesn't sound that great until you think how many people actually watched it, and have been laughing out loud ever since. Good to hear that a new project is underway and that progress of a sort is underway with tv poppets. I'm sure we'll get to see it over here in Blighty by about 2012.

    Cheers,

    Stephen Yeardley, Hungerford, England

  • Thank you for the update. I think it may help in your pitch to the studios if you express that the show is popular online with religious and non-religious people. The scripts seem so sincere, with just a dash of sarcasm. =)

  • Great to get an update. Rooting for you. Just blogged about this, and delighted to see it at the top of the comedy list! The pitch spoof was killer.

  • Thanks, nalts!

  • Best of luck! Can't wait to see more.

  • lol @ tiki sci-fi man... and GOOD LUCK! I can't think why a television company WOULDN'T pick you up! =P

  • Good Luck! You really have something original and creative!!!

  • hey luck!!!!! loved the puppy

  • Yay!! ^^ And teh puppy is love~ <3 Puppy makes up for lack of episodes. ^^

  • Good luck!

  • Typical FOX. Never recognise talent unless it gets hit in the face. Can't wait for the next series!

  • Love the re-creation.

"Fox" is cute despite having walked away from your pitch.

    Can't w
