About the repeatable notes which you have to hit using the 2 pick buttons - how do you know the right time to stop hitting it?

Do all the chords work in your keyboard? In mine, the 2/4/5 and 3/4/5 don't work.

I think it's a little bit more difficult with the mod because it's setting less hammer-ons and pull-offs than the normal game.

I think you just have to have some sense of rhythm to know when to stop.

I figured out that there is some problems with a few keys in keyboard which don't work right so I changed them to the way it's now (§1234 and down and right arrow key as picks)

But, in your case, you used one to record the sound of the computer and you. And I guess you used a software to record only the video. Then you edited both in After Effects and made that mask thing you talked about. But I don't know any software to record video in the computer. Which did you use? I guess it's not the same After Effects.

I used video camera to record myself playing and it also recorded the game sounds which came from the stereos. And I used a software called Fraps to capture the game from computer. But the demo version of it only allows you to record like few seconds or something so I had to install the full version (the full version doesn't work if you have installed the demo. I think you didn't get it in the 1st paragraph. I was talking about the GH game and FoF with this MOD. Not about the FoF with the original MOD. About the pick buttons, I meant to say in the keyboard or guitar controler. In my case I found the guitar's pick buttons harder to play than keyboard's.

And can you tell me the name/mark of your keyboard? The ones I've got don't work all the chords in every setting I've tried.

Oh I see :P well I myself find the guitar hero game a bit easier (I'm actually playing it right now :D). It just needs a little practise to strum fast and so. Especially the fast strumming is a lot easier with guitar controller. Otherwise it's pretty much similar to me.

And my keyboard is Compaq Model No. RT7H00 if it helps in anyway :P but I read that some computers doesn't work with 3 chords so it may depend of your computer

In the original FoF MOD, if you miss the automatic notes, you have to press the pick button to continue to play them. But in this GH MOD, even if you miss the automatic notes, you can continue playing them without having to press the pick button. What is it like in GH game? You don't have to press the pick button to continue playing them in case you miss, right?

My FoF version is 1.2.451. So the MOD should work fine. But the thing in the menu screen that should move, doesn't move; the "select difficult screen" doesn't turn; and the label of the CDs are shown with white lines. Have you any ideia why's that?

You can change the moving menu backgrounds from Settings -> Game settings -> static SVGs settings by changing all to "no". I don't know about white lines of the CDs but I've noticed that problem in some older computers. And I didn't get that "select difficult screen" thing :D what is that? But the game is working properly, right? Because I think, that's the main thing :)

Yes, the game is working properly. About the "select difficult screen" is the screen that appears after choosing a song. The screen which you have to choose among Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert. The background of this screen should turn. I saw it in a video. I guess your game does it.

Where did you get this Guitar Hero MOD for Frets on Fire? I'm not sure if that's what they call MOD... the board which the notes are shown. I play it using the Frets on Fire original one...

Thanks a lot! I found it easier to play Frets using this MOD. But there are less automatic notes. Why's that? Is it because the notes from the songs from GHII game are equal to the GHmod; and Frets that put more automatic notes? Now I see why you prefer to play using 2 pick buttons. It can't be! But did you also play Guitar Hero? I've been playing it for years! Then I began in Frets on Fire. And I do have got a lot of experience. But I'm not so good as you. I never played it like you in the directional. I used only the Enter as the pick button. And I use the Fs. I thought that was the best way. I found it a little bit hard to reach the numbers below.

Do you always use the 2 pick buttons? Or you use them just for those high-speed notes one behind another?

I've been playing a little bit of guitar hero too but mainly FoF. And yes I use the second pick button too (I use down and right arrows (up arrow seems to have some troubles)) both fast and regular notes, it's not that hard I think. And I don't know...I think I'm a bit better than my other friends too because I have some experience with other musical instruments too :)

WOW! I find out a little difficult to use the directional buttons. It disturbs me when I'm tapping the Fs. So if I begin to practise using the down and right arrows tapping one after the other in easier songs, I can get better?

And how do you do to make the note board appears in the center of the screen? I'd like to know, so I'd be able to record a video of me playing it. And so you can watch the way I'm used to play.

At least I find it easier to tap the arrow keys :) and if you liked to make a video like mine you'd need a video editing software (like Adobe After Effects, Sony Vegas etc.) which can make masks so you can cut out everything else but the note board and behind shows you with your keyboard. I had some difficulties to make the tracks fit with each others as you can see. A bit difficult process :P
