this was not an accident, if you look, you can see whitewater from the screw area, and in the full sequence they pick up the barge that they let go before going under the bridge themselves

You can Google this for more details. It happened in 1979, on the Tombigbee River in Alabama. The vessel was called the Cahaba, & this took place at the Rooster Bridge.
