i love the quote the director said about the end of the episode "is there a doctor in the house?" from the first season when gabrielle almost dies: "...having that moment that you realize that this rag-tag little girl xena picked up along the way who was a bard, who was a bit of an annoyance, she was falling in love with." because to me that's when you really do first realize that these two people love and need each other.

@ImmorTigerLilyxx I see it as almost a timeline for the two. I think In Doctor Xena realized she was in love with Gabrielle, but that Gabrielle didn't realize it until The Quest. And that at the end of the quest is when they became a couple. Because I swear their dynamic changes after that episode.

i think its okay when people say that they werent lovers, ebecause it is how they interprete their behaviour, but for me they wree definitely a couple and more than that...soulmates...the deepest kind of a realtionship that exist...some interprete it as lover and other as something else...maybe friendship....

Very interesting. I haven't seen some of these. I wish you'd consider redoing the vid, if that wouldn't be too much work (I know with some editing programs it'd be a snap, but I don't know what you use) to stick citations in for your quotes or even just a listing of your sources and the links to them if online on your website. That'd be really helpful for us subbers who need a "it was totally canon" fix. Nice job putting it all together, I liked the music.
