  • Nice truck. My familys got a 77 CJ5 with a 258. Awesome motor. 110 hp. but plenty of torque. go Jeeps! Plus the 258 can sound awesome.

  • Yeah so i noticed on my j-200. I am worried that any tire i choose might rub my rear spring seeing how i am running stock 93 chevy wheels. With the tires that are on the jeep now, they are very close and they are only 245/65/16. The wheel is 6.75" Wide thats why i was thinking S.S. narrow.

  • Any problems with the tire hitting the leaf springs in the front wile turning?

  • @Blakep7704 Its fine up front, although I had this same setup on a '75 Cherokee and it rubbed the leaf springs. The WT axle in the J10 helps a lot there.

The tires are VERY close to the leaf springs in back though. Not an issue on Wag's or Cherokee's. But on J-Trucks its a common issue.

  • Nice truck keep Uploading new vids of it please.

  • What size lift and tires do you have on that truck. I have a 77 jeep J10 that I plan on lifting. Look at my channel if you want to see the truck.

  • It has a 6" lift with 34" tires. And I am in California.

  • @Stuka87 Are the tires on your jeep, swamper SS narrow?

  • @Blakep7704 They are 33x12.50 Super Swamper TSL's (Bias Ply, not Radial). However, this size of swamper measured 33.7" tall. Most 33's measure 32.5" tall. Which is why many people call them 34's. They are actually nearly as tall as some 35's (Such as BFG KM2's). I have them mounted on 8" wide wheels, which does make them appear skinnier. I did look at the SS Narrow swamper, and it has a neat look too it. But these were readily available.

  • Super nice truck. I have the exact same white '81 J10 with a AMC 360 V8 in it.

  • nice video quality,, i bet that thing doesnt need to be in low

  • i agree fully :)

  • that only has a straight 6??? just like my 1981 Amc Concord right??

  • Yup, same exact engine. AMC 258 inline 6. Mine has a few mods, but it is getting tired. Need to do a rebuild, slap a 4.0 head on it.

  • no waayyy it bolts right upp dont they have extra stroke or somethin??

  • The Head is just the top part of the engine. But it flows better. It bolts onto some 258's (you need 1/2" studs). A complete 4.0 will bolt up, but it needs to be from a manual transmission so it has the right computer, and it may interfere with the brake booster on some cars.

  • Sounds good, though! Mine's pretty tired too, but I have a used 258 in my shop that I will put in this winter some time.

  • Yer truck is an "ACE" in my book. Love'em.

  • Thanks :)

  • :):):)

  • nice wheels what kind r they

  • The wheels are 70's Chevy K5 and Truck Rally wheels painted black (they came grey/silver normally). The tires are Interco Super Swamper TSL's.

  • freekin sweet truck i want one
