This was resolved to any reasonable extent when the COLB, which states he was born in Honolulu and has been vouched for multiple times by the agency that released it and independent watchdog groups, was put online for all to see. It's prima facie evidence in any court proceeding.

Your argument that there is a difference between a native born citizen and a natural born citizen is not supported by any current legal scholar. There is significant case law that strongly suggests that anybody born within the US is a natural born citizen, regardless of parentage. There is a 1860s legal opinion which, while not binding, is certainly evidentiary.
