This is a very good album but I still miss this 'character' of Vitec's drumming. It wasn't just a background for the band as it\s sounds a bit now. I also miss Covan's deep vocal. Organic Hallusinosis in my opinion is one of the best metal albums ever. Nothing can get the same style back however. Decapitated goes on and that is good, but so pity they can't be in same line-up as on previous album. Pozdrowienia dla mamy Witka i Wacka- Pani Zosi, a dla Decapitated życzenia powodzenia!

@dibuuk Agreed, Organic Hallusinosis has to be one of my favorite albums of all time, and definitely my favorite Decapitated album. And I know what your getting at with Viteks drumming, I always found it to be more of a focal point in their music.

@sixthseparatist Yes I never really liked Decapitated until Organic because of the vocals. Personally I think vocals need to be powerful and aggressive , not just some growling in the background... I would love to hear Spheres of madness with this vocal style

good to hear the new decapitated album!. i got really angry when i first heard what they sounded like on carnival is forever. i felt they shouldnt have used the decapitated name for it, as it was too different from O.H! but i put that way of thinking aside, as i am still thankfull they are still around! and bursting with talent! fair play for continuing! and looking forward to the next release!

Also, I'm really starting to dig the hell out of this album. All the euroblasting on The Knife sucks balls though. The thing is, I play drums but know little about guitar... So I could hear all the playing on drums, but not really being able to hear all the guitar work, the drums to me sounded really over-played. Now that I'm picking up on the nuance in the guitar, this album overall is really starting to slay me. So glad Decapitated is back.

This is a pretty cool track, but I've got to say for the album overall... Krimh's a great player, but Vitek was much, much better at writing "what the song needed." Krimh overplays so much that he never has a very cool, consistent backbeat. There's no real groove to follow on a lot of riffs because the drums are just confused. I bet the next album will be much better when Krimh matures a bit with his writing. Carnival was for sure a big let down though. R.I.P. Vitek

@VYours Totally disagree. I don't know what you've been listening to cos there's definite groove here! And compared to a lot of metal drummers these days he doesn't overuse fills. Carnival is just a natural progression for Decapitated-you don't want a band to be static otherwise they'll end up the way bands like L.O.G have i.e. completely repetitive and boring. However they have still retained the distinct Decapitated sound. ...but that's just my opinion.

@ooeygooeylouie I don't mean to say Krimh has no rhythm or anything, I just think that Vitek did a much better job of playing the right rhythm on drums to accompany the guitar. Krimh feels very overdone and confused. It's good stuff, but the album is definitely underwhelming in terms of composition though. Look at BDM's recent release Ritual: the musicianship is present but it doesn't take away from the songs. This album, unlike other Decapitated albums, is missing that quality.
