Honestly, I think Saints Row is better, the missions, the storyline, the comedy, the suspense, the customization, the originality in a common format is absolutely great. GTA4 is very boring and the driving and aiming mechanics are bad and the side activities are excessive. GTA:SA is just really bad, the controls were really bad and the storyline didn't have good structure. When True Crime wasn't a success no one complained. GTA fanboys feel the heat, threatened by SR.

GTA's story is really really boring, and the missions are too, and don't get me started on the excessive side activities in GTA. Plus, Saints Row is about killing because it's totally GANG ORIENTED, but the story is fun to play because the ways that you end up killing and blowing stuff up isn't straight forward even half of the time, and you sometimes have to improvise and beat things your way, and plus it's really funny and suspenseful at once.

Saints Row 2 had a darker, more sinister storyline with some very nasty deaths that were set up and commited. GTA has storylines that I can't follow. Especially in 4 because I can barely understand a damn thing.
