  • I want to see this whole thing, Lousia May Alcott is one of my favorite writers. I also like her thrillers as well. I am writer and I admired her since I was a child. She never re-edited her work? wow I rarely re-edit either I always like the first draft the best.

  • Hello PBS. May I use a few seconds from your video for an overview about the famous Pennsylvanians? That would be very kind!

  • where can i watch the whole thing?

  • Why didn't Elizabeth Marvel receive and Emmy nomination for this?

  • What is so awesome is that she never did any re-writes, revisions or second drafts she just wrote it all out and there it was another great story by Miss Alcott.

  • ooh... this is not how i pictured louisa.

this one's too old... and stern... like a stereotypical tyrant headmistress...

i'm sorry but this is not my louisa...

  • Bring Louisa to your school, library, senior center, club or theatre. Google "Marianne Donnelly Absolutely Affordable Family Entertainment" for references and YouTube link to her joyful, accurate show, "Beyond Little Women," available for ages 10 through adult. Descendants of the Alcotts enjoyed this show as have thousands of young audiences. Suffrage, abolition, temprance, self-sufficiency, transcendentalism and civil war themes are intelligently woven into this grant-winning program.

  • its okay but she wasn't that old... when she wrote it.

  • @MusicInMySoul010Main being in your 30's during the Victorian Era was considered ancient!

  • I love this!
