  • Russ Ballard is a top one, but this is shame for Rainbow, they were on top, gay FM rock.

  • I Saw this tour in Buffalo,New York. They opened for Blue Oyster Cult. This band blew the place away.4 (count'em) 4 curtain calls for the opening band.BOC tried the best they could, but Rainbow was just that much better. One of the best concerts of my life.

  • this song is under-rated and under-played, it deserves so much more. Great song.

  • brings back so many memories :)

  • Was having a wee bit of nostalgic feeling loved this band and still have a wee go at the karioke with since youve been gone! Russ Ballard could claim Legendry status here. Rainbows in Scotland most da.ys

  • What a waste. All the musical talent in this group, thrown away on drivel like this AM radio garbage.

  • The song kick ass, quality sucks ass. lol

  • @Br34kStUfF08 It's from 1979. this was HD back then.

  • I heard this over 100 times... for REAL.....

  • This song is insane!

  • I thought Areosmith sings this song!

  • Head East is way better then this and it is Head East song Rainbow sucks.

  • @sdjammer this isnt head east's or rainbows, this is russ ballard's from argent. All other versions are covers, and rainbow rock

  • @sdjammer Wrong. It's a Russ Ballard song, COVERED by Head East and Rainbow. Ballard first recorded it in '76. The Head East version was in '78, and this one by Rainbow came out in '79.

Russ Ballard is one of the greatest song writers ever. Look him up sometime. :)

  • This song sounds as good to me now as it did then!!!!!!!! Thanks for the Vid!!!!

  • This song is only good 'cause it was written by Russ Ballard. LOL, Blackmore fired Bonnet for his haircut

  • @praetorianus72.... No he didn't.. He joined Rainbow on condition that he keep the cut. He had it way before he was asked to join.

  • @praetorianus72 .. No he didn't. He was asked to join when he already had the cut... Not an issue.. They broke up after they wanted different directions in music.

  • Not a huge fan of post Dio Rainbow, but if you don't compare it with their more artistic periods its tolerable.

  • this song kicks ass

  • you can tell Rainbow and Queen ran in circles

good melody - nice chord progressions too

  • Super kapela a perfektní muzikanti...

  • Hey, I though this was a Kelly Clarkson song! Just futzin'...there's no substitute for good, clean, pure, unadulterated ROCK.

  • good band

  • Great

  • Saw Graham Bonnet a few weeks ago on the cable program "That Metal Show", didnt recongnize him! then again, I guess we all have aged since '79. He cud belt some notes back in the day!

  • Is he singing this to ronnie james dio??

  • DalisYT, U got itt all wrong, i´ts the ather way around...=)

  • Anybody else notice how much this song sounds like America by Gianna Nannini?

  • this is the rare 'under water' version.

  • nobody can beat dio on vocals!!!!!

  • Cozy hated that song.

  • @MrJohngalt1962 He started to love it later..He played it with Brian May too!

  • good tune

  • Down to Earth was a Fantastic Album, don't kid yourself.

  • graham bonnet looks soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo handsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • We expect so much more now. Is that not unfair to modern bands?

  • @ShlttyBill

But what modern band can compare to what We have just heard?

  • Graham,,,, Graham Bonnet

  • 20carrocks, i hope not....cause i'd then have to hate this song.

  • Mike from The Young Ones, lead vocals.

  • <3 this.

  • @GadaffiMonAmour1 That is Roger Glover of Deep Purple.

  • The really bad commercial bubble gum Rainbow...but of course because it was the more commercially successful radio friendly Rainbow - fans of this line-up will swear up & down that this was the best Rainbow line-up & they couldn't be more further from the truth... This line-up was horrible....

  • @ogrebattle22763 It's certainly not Rainbow Rising...but then again, what is?

  • hi there rainbow fans, sorry Rainbow fans, please look at this cheers..

GARY MOORE - BLOOD OF EMERALDS, Polish Tribute to the Irish Guitar Legend

  • I love this song, what a great singer, looks like Scott Weiland. But they could had spared the "acting parts", since there is nothing worse than acting exactly what the song says, lol "so I get out of bed, put on my shoes and in My head..." and cue the video doing exactly that, ha, ha...great song!

  • Ha Ha, my brother used to pull my leg something rotten when i was young, he told me Graham Bonnet got sacked from Rainbow because he wouldn't grow his hair long lol, brilliant song.

  • Though I´ll always love RJD I have to say that Graham Bonnet sings marvelously

  • as good today as its always been!!

  • Ritchie Blackmore had a thing for all the lead singers in the bands he was in . He hated them.

  • best solo ever

  • Rainbow from this era, also known as the shitty rainbow

  • Graham Bonnet...one of the most underrated voices in rock...and one of my very favorites.

  • @Sabadooful jeah, looks like ace ventura

  • @Sabadooful ... Graham Bonnet was Rainbow's best lead vcoallist by a long, long way

  • Jim Carrey is singing.............wow

  • A great rock/pop song from sensational Rainbow, when they were at their very best with Graham Bonnet at the front.

  • <3

  • Head East did a great cover

  • @WavyGravyTrain1 Head East, no matter how good their cover is, will never come even close to being this amazing. Just sayin'.

  • @THEKCKJM I I accept your opinion. The original is better but every band has a cover of a sond and to me 90 percent of them fail. 10 percent like Head East did a great job.

  • @WavyGravyTrain1 I do agree that theirs is good...but i just cannot think that they are that great after growing up with this song.

  • This brilliant song only serves to highlight the guitar genius that is Ritchie Blackmore....I remember hearing this constantly when I was in England in 1979

  • great song

¡¡Esta, canción es fantasticamente sensacional, de principio a fin!¡ ¡¡¡¡ I really love this amazing and fabulous song!!!!! ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡The singer really sings very, very, very well; the musicians and this song are at the same high super level!!!!!!! ¡¡One of my favorite songs!!

  • @sudipta191 You should listen to Head East the Band that sang it first much better Rainbow sucks

  • @sdjammer If they suck, why did you come to a video of one of them?

  • This is the signature Rainbow, in my opinion.

  • @paulcbreen11 Unless it was in a T-Mobile commercial, I cant recall any movie having this part. version. :)

  • f**king love it.

  • Its sad that i have 17 years and i have to come here to listen some real music caz todays music is crapp, oh my god how lucky our parents was to hear this briliant song and another good songs when they was tennagers.

  • Liked Ritchie Blackmore playing guitar for Deep Purple better, but this band had some cool songs. Stone Cold kinda rocks.

  • This makes go back to when me and my older brother will sit in our room all night rocking through our small vinyl collection.

  • @lovinitinit There are only so many chord progressions that can be done on a guitar its natural for them to repeat in multiple songs.

  • The DICE MAN liked it.......................

  • Classic...they use to play the grooves out of this on 97.9 in chicago

  • I was a punk in the day and hated this stuff ...........now i know how good this crap is ;0)
