Cadillac Northstar goes from ghetto cruiser to boulevard bruiser! These are awesome motors that should have at the very least deserved to have been available in F-Bodies. Seems a perfect match for a Fiero! Great Job, & awesome ride! How much do they weigh anyhow, and how much bigger are they over a small block chevy? Anyone know?
@CSXT8250 Well the Northstar V8 is a 4.6L where a 350 small block is a 5.7L. The Northstar engines are actually pretty stout. They normally push 275hp-300hp from the factory and 295-300ft/lbs of torque.
That is a pretty sick car. There is a guy up here that runs each year at MOSPORT and he wins every year, and i'm pretty sure he has the same setup you got.

A spoiler is just that, a spoiler....... Its your choice man but anything other then a drag lip spoiler will kill the clean look this car has. HOW BOUT A LOWER DEFUSER !!!

I found this transmission on craigslist, the getrag f23, is that a good tranny? Also how would I go about doing as in like where the pedal goes, how to install that, or how I would get the stick in the center etc? I have been curious about this for a while
too bad it's an auto. mine was auto as well, but i wish it would have been 5-spd. or get all crazy with a 6 spd. and close gears. 6.0 GTO... could be fun...
not on my previous fieros I had, and not on my current one. all stock, fully loaded (no leather though). my daily driver is absolutely stock as well. Oh, well, yes, I had 16" dark grey rims on one...euro-style, nice ones. a bit AMG-Style rims actually....
You can but it is going to be a pretty custom setup. We have toyed with the idea of making some "factory style" upgrades in the future. Running a factory computer with the wideband is the issue among many.
