  • Did I see a Luther at the Dallas show???

I live just N of Dallas (just outside of redneck/Bushville) I missed the show this year, it came up too quick before I could arrange w the Romanian princess to go. Just think could have bumped into GMD, one always sees Eric J there.

After really hearing a million OD pedals there is at best subtle differences between them. I think the Tim get sa lot of hype because it's harder to get. The Luther is a great pedal.

  • ahhh the boots could have given you away! everyone knows now you are the only man ALIVE allowed to wear those beasts.

  • I had one of these stolen, I was so bummed out. Great pedal.

  • How do you order 1 of these?

  • just ask santa

  • I borrowed this pedal to test out as an overdrive paired with my marshall's distortion, and the sound i got out of it was incredible. nice clear distortion with a huge boost, it was like each strum was a punch in the face!

Marshall JCM900 with an orange cab and this pedal. its good

  • How much do these go for? There is somebody on craigslist by me selling one for $200... good buy or rip off?

  • $200 is fair if you want it NOW...if you can wait a couple months, they're about $120...the choice is yours...I saw dudes trying to sell them for $300 at the Dallas Guitar Show, but they were, and are, idiots...$200 is fair for a get it now price...ROCK ON!

    GMD

  • Is there anywhere to still buy it for 120$? I know this was a year ago so maybe not....but let me know. Thanks!

  • @eragoncp14 from paul c himself, still $120. always will be... well. perhaps always

  • I really hope nobody is put off ordering a Timmy based on these knob settings as others have mentioned the Bass and Treble CUT as they are turned clockwise.

I've been using TIM and Timmy pedals for years now and would never set the knobs like this with any amp.

  • Unconventinal, but the bass and treble knobs here were designed as cut knobs. Treble all the way counter-clockwise like that would be "bright and brittle" as described. You would turn the treble knob clockwise to reel them in.

  • thanks! didn't know they were cut knobs....makes sense...can't wait to get one to fully experiment with it...

  • With bass all the way DOWN and treble all the way UP it will be bright. One of the best OD pedals. Classic.
